Doom 3 brings out the inner child to be traumatized. It offers violence in a way that it doesn’t seem politically incorrect. You are stationed at Mars City, and you have been called in because there’s a Doctor having trouble with science.Later you find out that this so called doctor is somewhat of a demon.The graphics might look a bit dated, but its the oldschool type action that makes it shine. You see ’em, you shoot ’em. Its a must buy, includes Resurrection of Evil, The Lost Mission, and the original Doom and Doom 2 from while back.1080p graphics are welcomed, but it looks the same in 720p.

DOOM DOOM DOOM… Just a great classic
Any old school gamer knows Doom! I’m not a huge fan of doom 3 however doom 1 & 2 (that are on this disc) are legendary! If you have an x360 or x1 this is a must have! Took me back to being a teen in the 90s!
The 3D option is a cool addition to the original. I do recommend taking breaks often during game play as the first person shooter in 3D can be very dizzying.

I was really excited to play DOOM 3. There are many things I think they could have done better, but it’s fun. What makes the BFG Edition good is the fact that you get DOOM, and both DOOM 2 editions. So when I get tired of playing DOOM 3, I relay back to the classics.
My first real FPS was Wolfenstein followed quickly by the original Doom series. This port to the xbox was pretty much just as I remember from graphics, sound, gameplay, etc. My son didn’t like the graphics because they are old style, but I remember when the reverse ray casting and sprites were cutting edge. This really took me back and I love just running around and shooting things without worrying about skill trees and such found in other games. Bullets, guns, monsters = fun.
At first I was having trouble with the disc playing on my Xbox 360, but after a system redo it finally read the disc, and I am having a blast playing it, it has doom doom 2 doom 3 the second part of doom 3 and the lost mission. Going to be playing this for a while.

i finally got the game after nearly a month of waiting! and i was pleasently surprised to find that not only did i get DOOM 3 but DOOM 1, 2, and 3! with the bonus of a poster. this was an excellent buy. now i can play all the doom games (except DOOM 4) from the comfort of my own chair on my xbox 360. and a nice DOOM 1 poster in need of framing. i strongly suggest this to any one who is a fan of the DOOM series.

This is a classic game repackaged with all the bells and whistles you’d expect from a remake. Not only do you get the Doom 3 game but also Doom and Doom II a wonderful value all things considered. Not too mention these two games act as their XBOX arcade versions expect. With achievements and even avatar awards.The terror of Doom 3 is there in stunning graphics, Doom and Doom 2 are just as fun as they were back in the day and I have to say I’m very happy with this game. If you like Bioshock then you’ll love this game.

Greetings! ID did a great job re-mastering Doom 3 for the consoles: it looks fantastic and sounds creepy as ever. The controls are tight and responsive and there aren’t any glitches that I noticed while playing. The addition of the lost levels and the original games makes this a true definitive collector’s edition. I played Doom 3 on the PC a while back and the experience of playing on the couch in front of a widescreen HDTV was thrilling; it comes close to a completely fresh experience.

This was an excellent game on the original xbox, even better on the 360 – plus you get 2 expansion packs and the original Doom and Doom 2. The gameplay will doubtless feel a bit antiquated to anyone accustomed to more recent games but this game is beautiful in it’s simplicity.

A great port of doom with included doom 1 and 2 as well to play I your 360. With the new doom announced this was the right time to play these again and refresh my memory. It’s also nice to be able to use the flashlight with any weapon any time you want in this game. The battery runs down quickly but recharges about as fast so if you use it sparingly it should always be available. This looks as good or better than when I played the original pc version as well as running at a higher resolution than my computer at the time as capable of. If you are a console only gamer now, this is the best version of doom 3 for you to play.

This is one of my all time favorite games. Awesome story, great lenght and for the time it was made, great graphics (of course, they will no be the same as Halo4 since this game is 10 years old).I love they released it for X360
