Classuc, classic, CLASSIC in the flavor of Final Fantasy. Completely pushed to the back of the bus because of Final Fantasy. Buy this & treat yourself!

The Legend of Dragoon was my 2nd JRPG game, the first being Final Fantasy 7 (which I never could finish because of the confusing in game blue screen items inventory, which kept me from getting past the first boss, lol). This was the second time I played it since 1999/2000. It brought back awesome memories of the first time playing it.Pros: Unique character designs (during CG cut scenes), storyline (Divine Tree and all), gameplay (ex: attack additions, changing into dragoons, multiple dragoon magic and attacks), level designs (beautiful cities and towns), 55+ hours of gaming value, simple game hud inventory.Cons: This game was made for the Playstation 1, so the in-game graphics are very dated. But when seeing the CG cut scenes, it still can still leave impressions. If Sony ever came out with sequel(s) or prequel(s) using current graphics in the future, then I would definitely buy them.

the only thing wrong with the game play is that you cant transform in Dragoon while playing discs 1 and 2 and the transition to the screen were you talk to the wingly to get the Psychedelic Bomb X took for ever to load. the disks look perfect

This game is in excellent condition, and I love playing it. I am happy with this game. I have had great success buying here.

The game legend of dragoon is an interesting one. The storyline is rather well, and I can honestly say that the shop didn’t lie about the condition of the game. The game itself however grips you and doesn’t let go until you beat it, while not making you completely obsessed so you can’t do anything else. All in all, I find that everything I’ve gotten from retrolio worked out rather well.

I bought my copy of Legend of (the) Dragoon when I got my PS2 (shortly after the PS2 release). My Son and I fell in love with this game playing it time and time again. The disadvantage was we couldn’t play it together. We stopped playing Legend of (the) Dragoon for two reasons. Disc 2 became unreadable on either our PS2 or portable PS1. The release of Final Fantasy XI for the PS2 sealed its fate in our home.Recently, though, I find a video combining Final Fantasy XI with Legend of (the) Dragoon. It reminded me of the fun I had with the story line, playing the Dart character, and how I got into fantasy role playing games. So, I’m going to buy a replacement copy, pull the portable PS1 out of mothballs, and play Legend once again. My only regret is Sony didn’t do a follow-on to this wonderful series. Honestly, I’m still waiting (yeah, I know I’ll be waiting forever). In the meantime, I’m playing FFXI and loving every minute. Why is FFXI so great? It’s the real life players and my Son and I can play together even though we’re separated (whether it be 5,000 miles or just a few).

While the dialouge is somewhat cheesy the plot has good twists and it has a failry unique turn based attack system making it more than simply picking an actino and watching things play out. One of my all time favorites. I have played it three times and it never gets old. Great game!

well first thing first i had this game when i was younger and i loved it. retrolio helped to get it again it is a 5 star game not many games of todays generation have the same quality. I have rated it in many discosions as to be a top game along side ff7. i believe this is a harder game to beat than ff7 because i beat ff7 in a week but im still looking for the stardusts in this game.
