I love this series. The pace is excellent. The character is strong yet humble and arrogant in the right amounts. This is high fantasy grounded in reality.

book as previous is quite huge. if you are looking for good sequel with focus on MC’s military adventures go on and buy it. I have to admit, something was missing, something what i can’t name it, but overall i am not disappointed. One last warning, don’t expect from MC any weakens, death walks behind him and sometimes hold him by his very hand

Fantastic story that doesnt follow the typical cookie cutter mold that many other wuxia books seem to follow. The book hasa BA main character and great supporting characters on top of an extremely vivid and realistic world. Theres so much more that makes this story great, but you’ll just have to read to discover that for yourself.
