This is a lot better than most wuxia where the translation is so poor it’s hard to understand. My only complaint is that the battles get kind of old after a while.
I liked the wuxia litrpg fun going… Just a certain witch’s illustrations didn’t really add anything.
Like the pacing of the story,however I am suspecting some weird desires going through Hadjar’s mind when he sees his sister.(Unaware who she is)
The author has continued to make his characters grow in power but has avoided the trope of the character being stupidly overpowered from the beginning. The pacing was good and I enjoyed the action in the fight scenes.

There were some more misspellings and even hadjars name was spelled wrong once! He’s the main guy. But I did read it’s a translation from Russian to English so overall not bad. Also I’m disappointed in hadj since he is trying so hard to improve and he is addicted to tobacco when even his men know it’s wrong and yet he can’t stop. It makes me cringe but that’s just me. Over all I am enjoying the chapters very much and the author really knows his own rules and classes. I think I am even beginning to understand them. Can’t wait to start reading the next one.

I’m anxious for what his presence in Lidus will bring. How he will resolve his desire for justice, against his sisters love for their uncle. He’s diving into a pit of vipers.
Another good read. I enjoyed the characters and the flow of things. I’m glad that the MC just doesn’t always have the answers. I enjoyed the battles as well and can’t wait to read the next one.
Solid entry into the series. The book is well written, but has some things that sound off after translation. The internal dialogue indicated by parentheses is weird more often than not. Other than that, the story itself is good, the world is gradually becoming very large, and I can’t wait to read the next volume.

Honestly I really liked the book. This book is very different similar yet different from other wuxia novels I’ve read. Most wuxia don’t have enough combat this one borders on having too much? Hoping the next book slows down a bit but still 5*

I’m retroactively rating after getting through book 7. Great series, really worth sticking to. Doesn’t suffer from some of the pacing/story issues that I’ve seen in similar works.
