I like the game but I will have to wait EA sports to push the DLC for the buttons and yes they are doing very soon. The TCP is ok but I like to know what I’m doing when I punch some time I punch nd it bloks and vice versa; and the scoring system is terrible I outland my opponent and have higher connect % but lose the round because they land bigger shots. The game is fun because its harder but there are some things that needed tweaking.

Fight Night Round 4 is FINALLY HERE!!!First and foremost i didnt pull any of this information from any site these are explicitly my opinions from what i received since owning the game. With the exception of the acheivements list and roster break down (which i already sent credit to) everything is my opinionThere has been a lot of controversy whether people wanted to buy this game soley based on the controller configuration for the game. If you no stranger to the Fight Night series then you must know this before deciding to purchase…The game currently only offers the Fight Stick configuration (Sorry all you button-mashers but as of right now theres no button configuration for any of the punches) right now you use the left thumb stick to manuever the boxer around and the right thumb stick to direct and coordinate all of your punches. I’m telling you at first i wasn’t to sure if i would like this idea, but the concept had me intrigue because it makes me feel like i have more control over the boxer and in some way puts me into the game a little bit more then just pushing a, b, x or y buttons to punch…this issue here has been a deciding factor for many on whether they buy the game or not, but just look at it this way1. yes it may be a little bit of a learning curve for some but think of it a challenge to overcome its actually pretty fun fighting this way.2. EA sports is definitely talking about releasing a product update via xbox live that includes a button configuration fo.

I like it. Just wish they would make one for the Xbox one.

Before I begin, I never played Fight Night before. So, it was quite interesting to learn how to throw punch using RS button. It made good sense on how to jab, straight, hook, and uppercut. However, through trial and error…. executing the combo 100% is extremely hard!! if I want to do left jab, right jab, left hook, right uppercut…. it comes out left jab, right jab, left straight, right hook. As you can see, it doesn’t come out as I thought would be. I can 100% execute those punch by itself though.Next, playing w/ noobies Online can be fun or frustrating. Thankfully, I learned to block and take out noobies on round 1!!! however, their button smashing technique…. will randomly get me to KOed…. What’s frustrating of blocking noobies…is that there is no pattern… so you have to random block too…lol… overall fun!

The best boxing game ive ever played!

  6. Franklin Gutierrez

    champion is better

  7. Dude Man

Fight Night Round 4 is the best release of the Fight Night franchise yet! The amount of professional boxers acquired (e.g. Ali, Tyson et al.) is monumental! A definite must get for anyone who has played and enjoyed Fight Night Rounds 1-3!The only two criticisms I have are: 1) The removal of the ability to hire ring girls (which is a minor criticism), and 2) The radical alteration of the three training sessions from the first three Fight Night games (which is the major criticism). It’s nigh impossible to do them with any amount of success. I’ve tried mucho.I payed $50 and love it; but if you can’t purchase it now for $15 and not love it…the problem is not with Electronic Arts Sports.Happy playing!
