Fun game especially if you’re a FF fan

I actually like this game. Yes, the graphics are nowhere near Monster Hunter level, and yes, it can be repetitive; I will even admit that the story is barely there (I rarely know when I start a new chapter). From an unbiased standpoint, this game is sub-par and probably only fully enjoyed by die hard fans. However, at least for me, I play for the nostalgia. It reminds me so much of the two DS Final fantasy Crystal Chronicles installments (Ring of Fates, Echoes of Time) that I can’t help but enjoy it. I’m also not a huge fan of Monster Hunter, so I wasn’t bothered by the copy-catish style of this game.Bottom line: this game is enjoyable if you’re a die-hard fan, or if you were a fan of the former DS Crystal Chronicles releases. If you enjoy Monster Hunter, you should probably avoid FF Explorers due to its lackluster mimicry.
Thanaporn –
It’s like Monster Hunter, except you’re playing Final Fantasy-like characters hunting monsters from Final Fantasy series.

Came quickly and works very well!

I really enjoyed this game, I didn’t think I would like it at first but it stays pretty true to the FF franchise while brining something new to the table.Let me summarize the nature of this game. When you start out, you have a freelancer class and you need to do tutorial missions to earn a license to do main quests, or to just explore, and to utilize shops. Once done, and as you progress through the main missions, you unlock stuff like new equipment, new jobs, and new abilities. The game continues to open up to you as you accomplish different things, and there are spoils you can pick up to upgrade your weapons and armor. It even features eidolons which you can fight, and later you learn how to encase them so you can summon them. You can also get equipment so you can dress up your character like popular FF characters, and you can also buy magicite which allows you to transform into different FF characers and you can utilize their special skills. In summary, this game features a lot of content, and if you never played games like monster Hunter or don’t like monster hunter, don’t like that prevent you from trying this out, it plays similar to monster hunter, but it is unique enough to be it’s own game. I forgot to mention that this game even features multiplayer, both online and local so you can take on quests with your friends. I recommend this game to anyone who owns a 3DS!
