Very good remake of the original FF 4. It is just like the ps version with updated graphics, and also comes with an extra “After Years” campaign that was originally only released in Japan. Must have for fans of the old one, and good for fans of the final fantasy series but might not be for everybody. I enjoyed it and it is a great update of a classic. Sony knows how to remake the FFs way better than nintendo that is for sure.

Final Fantasy IV is a great game. It is also one of the easier Final Fantasy to start you off with. Also included in this version is the Wii Ware The After Years and a new chapter set between the original game and the After Years. The graphics have all been updated. But what makes this the best version is the inclusion of the auto battle system. Kind of set it and forget it for those boss battles.

For those familiar with Final Fantasy from the days of super nintendo you chances are you played this game which was titled Final Fantasy 2. This game was way ahead of its time back then. It had an engrossing story, memorable characters, great enemies and awesome locations. This game is a blast to play. It simple turn based RPG that you can easily get into without being confused by battle systems and items and such that come with the more modern day RPGs. This game has been updated graphically as well as sounds and added in cutscenes. The updates make this game as much fun if not more fun to play now than it was years ago. If you like Final Fantasy and you like good stories like Final Fantasy 7 you will definately enjoy this remake of a classic snes game. Pick it up and if you don’t have a PSP they also did it for the DS which is also just as stellar. You won’t regret it.
