    This is by far the most visually impressive FF ever. The warping is so damn cool when it comes to battles. Like who doesn’t want to teleport by throwing their weapon. Cool weaponry and character design as always with Tetsuya Nomura. They did a great job maintaining the dark neo gothic theme throughout the game. However the story seemed rush and there was not enough character development. I blame the director. The episodes try to make up for that, but it should have all been included in the main story. Episode Ardyn is not included, but definitiely should have. his back story could have made him the Joker of the FF series. Guess i’ll just watch the cutscenes on youtube.Visuals 10/10Gameplay 8/10Story 6/10

    If it said “complete edition” then id be mad about it not having episode ardyn, but it had everything else so no complaints here.

    Awesome game, in this edition the only really useful things are the weapons, which help a lot early game, and the new map which I haven’t gotten to yet. came in new game packaging. You just go on the playstation store and enter the codes for the dlc stuff

    As a FF fan, I was very skeptical of this game. It seemed too far of a departure from the fantasy genre. FFVII was the exception that proved the rule regarding technology vs. fantasy. However, this game does many things right, and the main thing it gets right is characterization.The characters are such that you want to spend time in their world and live through their adventures with them. I would have preferred that this game was sold under a different title because it still isn’t “Final Fantasy” to me. But there is no doubt that it is a fantastic game.It was a joy to play. You won’t be disappointed.
