So in love with this game! Very experimental compared to other titles, but also varied in so many ways: brilliant world, fun mechanics, and overall immersing storyline. The combat, while repetitive, makes up for it with interesting and strategic elements in target design, so no battle ever gets old. Definitely recommend! It’s my favorite FF game for the DS.

This is the best Final Fantasy game in a long time! It’s so much fun and it’s easy to get absorbed into the game. The battle system is new and different, making it fun and challenging to beat bosses and random battles. I love that you get to explore an over-world, and the job system with the crowns is interesting and reminds me of Final Fantasy Tactics (although it’s not that complex). I really like the art style; it reminds me of Tactics as well but it’s fresh and different. The music is beautiful, even though there are no classic themes. Playing wireless multiplayer is a lot of fun too, and an easy way to get lots of levels and gems for your crowns. I would recommend this to kids as well as adults–my husband and I both have a copy–even if you’ve never played any other games in the Final Fantasy series.

It’s not your typical FF game, for this one is a bit different regarding the jobs system, not sure I like the idea of not choosing who to attack but was still pretty fun!
Reinhard –
An amazing that grace the system. It has one of the most beautiful story and intriguing combat system. The quality is there for anyone who is willing to give the series a try.

Très bon jeu. Je suis contente de l’avoir acheté. Un bon petit jrpg avec la mécanique du tactil de la ds bien exploité.

Really nice game. It’s not a 4k game but it’s fun. Graphic are so so but it’s cool

Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes of Light is a new spin-off to the Final Fantasy series. When I first heard of it at E3, I was so happy that a Final Fantasy game was coming to a Nintendo system. I preordered it on retrolio and was so excited to play the game four days after the release date. Overall, the game is a lot of fun and the new battle system is great. However, the game doesn’t provide an in-game tutorial, so you had to learn how to play by reading the manual, which most people don’t read, or by making mistakes and learning from them. I am a quick learner, so after several deaths and realizing that I was going the wrong way and over leveled my first character, I went right back on track. The art style of the game is not as serious as other Final Fantasy games. All of the characters are chibis except for the four heroes on the box art and the instructions manual. Personally, I like chibis. The battle system is pretty simple to use, but I don’t like the fact that you can’t recharge your battle points outside of the battle except near an inn. I could use a heal spell outside of battle, but I can’t use it too much since our battle points don’t recharge. Battle points is basically the mana of this game. You gain one battle point if you run out in battle, and you can gain more by skipping your turn.Classes in this game is called crowns. You start off with only one and you slowly unlock more. You can change them at any time outside of battle and you can upgrade them with gems. Gem.
