I ordered this game for my 14 year old son. He loves it! It did take a while to receive it, but I was not in a hurry, and when I first ordered it, the shipping date reflected that it would take some time. We looked many places for this game, and it was a little hard to find. It arrived in great shape, and was a great price!

This game is awesome!!! It came two days early, and in great condition. The game plays greatly, but will crash in certain chapter intros. But that’s my own copy, and not a big deal. 10/10, 5 stars, couldn’t be happier.

Even though it came out early in the year, I’m willing to say that it’s probably going to be the best DS game of 2009 (at least in its genre). This game is completely solid in almost every way, including top notch graphics, music, artwork, storyline, dialog, difficulty (it’s not too easy), and playability.I can pick up this game any time, and the way the game is built makes it easy to play in short installments, so if you are on the go a lot or simply have very little time for games it works out rather nicely; if you have a lot of time you can simply play through it. You can stop the game at any time, and since it’s a turn based strategy it’s not really important if you are away from the game for a while (no perceived loss of continuity). The plot is enough to make the game interesting, but not so much that you’d important details over time. I find myself going back to this game more than any others in my DS collection.Every DS owner should have this game, even if just to round out your collection with a finely balanced strategy game. It’s accessible to beginners and yet meaty enough for expert players. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars of fun is because it is not the most awesomely engaging game I’ve ever played, but it has its moments and is otherwise a consistently good experience.The only thing that is bad about this game is the multiplayer, but as a DS owner I’ve become accustomed to horrendous multiplayer. As this is chiefly a single player game, it do.
great game but very tactical. this is the most tactical game I’ve ever played and am still playing because of the difficulty that varies for stage to stage. just enjoy the game and ps you will have to let the weaker players dies to succeed in this game

Si les fondements de la série n’ont pas changé, le passage de Fire Emblem sur DS offre un meilleur confort visuel et permet de jouer soit de manière classique, soit de manière tactile avec le stylet. Outre la possibilité de découvrir enfin la genèse de la série, ce remake se permet d’introduire un certain nombre de nouvelles options qui rendent l’expérience de jeu moins contraignante que dans les autres volets. Que de chemin parcouru depuis l’épisode original sur Famicom !

Gameplay and mechanics are excellent, as is expected from a Fire Emblem title, but most of the characters lacked any meaningful development, which was a disappointment. Worth playing for the creative maps, and to get the original FE story.

I really like the addition of multiple versions of hard and I can’t even beat the hardest yet. This has kept me entertained for so long. If you are a fan of turn-based strategy games I would strongly recommend this and the rest of the series.

As a Fire Emblem fanatic, I thought the game was a great revival to the series. It requires strategy to accomplish each level, and for new players, this game may prove to be difficult, since if you lose a unit in any level, you lose them for the entire game. Then again, if you are accustomed to Fire Emblem or other related strategy games, and you like the thrill of strategic battle, then this game is a great buy. The graphics are rendered well, the new 3d graphics to this fire emblem game certainly add a new and polished touch, at least in terms of the handheld Fire Emblem games. This game utilizes a feature called “Class Change.” If you want to take an archer character, and you think he would be better as a myrmidon, then you can make the swap. The game allows you to change your characters to how you see fit, with certain limitations. The limitations being that you may only have a certain number of characters dedicated to a certain class. However, if you don’t feel the need to swap the classes of the characters, then that is also fine; there are no negative results to the class swap or keeping the classes the same.Overall, the game is a great strategy game that presents players with a growing army of unique characters, each contributing their own help. You can mold the characters how you see fit, and eventually create the strongest army. The road to victory requires hard work and perseverance, can you handle Fire Emblem?
