Mods_m4 –
Enjoyable, great price . I love the car garage and the modern day factory cars in the game. Fun to play with friends on Xbox live and just mess around for hours.

It seems to be a little less of a simulator and more in line with Need for Speed type racing games. It is a lot of fun, though. You don’t receive cars as prizes every time you sneeze, like in the regular Forza games. Overall, although a little less realistic, it is fun and has great graphics. Oh, it does not let you control engine sound separetaly from special effects, so you either annoy the neighbors (and yourself) everytime you hit something (or get points awarded), or you can barely hear the car’s engine…..

This is a cool game. The music and scenery is very nice. I did ultimately return it though because I’m just not into racing game as I thought I might be.

Yup. Bought it, beat it, sold it, and found myself wanting to play again.Really excellent portrayal of a fictional Colorado and surrounding Southwest. I found myself seeing stretches of I-70, I-25, US 285, Garden of the Gods, Idaho Springs, Pueblo, Longmont, San Luis Valley, Durango, etc.The art based on the location is nice and welcoming, but the feel of driving fast, open roads with traffic at dawn, sunset, at night, sometimes part of a race, sometimes a challenge, and sometimes just seeing what there is to see and be found–it’s unique among games. Semi-reminiscent of Burnout Paradise, but the actual immersive feel and fun is more akin to Red Dead Redemption (one of this game’s influences) or Sleeping Dogs.I would say this is the videogame equivalent to Vanishing Point, with a dash of Cannonball Run, and a touch of On the Road. It’s open, free, and captures the feel of the West all while letting you race and do silly things. The multiplayer piece is nice too–sort of a cross between Project Gotham and Dirt. Enough fun in that to keep you coming back and challenging your friends and enemies.Beware though: I was disappointed in a controller with very few layouts (I think only 4) and can’t receive custom mapping. Your ride can’t be customized either–no gearing, no brake adjustment, ride height, just nothing except performance upgrades. In that it sets itself apart from the core Forza series. But if you want a racer that’s more about huge drifts and spinning tires than clipping.

I bought this game for my son because he wanted it so bad. He love this game it is one of his favorites. It is rated T but that’s only for minor language. He knows not to say those words but you barely hear it in the game.

I’ve been playing this for quite some time now and I was a little disappointed initially because I thought it would have Porsche cars in it since they were finally added as an expansion pack for Forza 4. I was wrong. They’re no where to be found still. What I think would be awesome is if in a future game they could combine Forza 4, Forza Horizon, and Need for Speed. Basically have an environment you can drive around in freely like Horizon but have Police cars that could chase you like in Need for Speed but it would also be nice to be able to drive to a track in the game and race like in Forza 4. Just an idea, but I think that would go over very well with the gaming/racing world. I was never a fan of Need for Speed because the driving didn’t feel real at all and I like Forza because I don’t get that feeling, which I think is what they were going for.
