Hoo-wee, that was fun! Plenty of plot, tons of shooting and secrets, I just wish that there was more. X( Otherwise, yup, the bosses were very well made and exciting(except for the spider in the elevator. CANT. FREAKING. KILL IT.) Plenty of map not to get lost on, and the gallery photos are shweet. I give it an A- for being so sadly short!

this is metroid’s first forray into the gameboy advance and the fourth metroid game overall. however, chronologically, ‘metroid fusion’ is the latest chapter of the ‘metroid series’. the gameplay of fusion follows the non-metroid prime games (i.e. super metroid) classic cross fusion of mario and zelda. this is my first non-metroid prime game of the series that i’ve ever beaten. i had the opportunity to play this game and part of its allure is the standard play-through time of five hours.like most metroid games, you are sent by some organization to investigate something strange that happened. in this one, you were investigating a parasite known as X, when your suit gets infected. things didn’t look good until they created a metroid vaccine that cured you of the parasite. however, it left you vulnerable to the cold and many functions of your suit were disabled. the lab where you’re recuperating becomes overrun with X parasites that have the ability to copy other organisms. this becomes the least of your worries when pieces of your infected suit become an X parasite copy of samus.as in other metroid games, you lack most of your abilities at the beginning of the game. you unlock or recoup functions of your suit as you progress through the game. many rooms of the various levels will require specific bombs or weapons to destroy and advance in the game. this involves a lot of non-linear game-play for which metroid is known for. the more challenging aspects of the game can be trying.

It’s a wonderful time to be a fan of old school. Metroid Fusion is quite simply the closest thing to a new SNES Metroid adventure possible. From the very beginning it’s clear nothing was sacrificed and much was gained. Samus is back and every bit as incredible as she was before. I must admit, I have a definite soft spot for Samus Aran. She’s by far my favorite video game babe, bar none. I think just about the only thing that can irk me more than someone calling Link “Zelda” is someone calling Samus “Metroid”. The graphics and sounds of Metroid are simply etched into my mind for all time so I had high hopes in starting up Metroid Fusion.Don’t let the fact this is a Gameboy Advanced game fool you. This could very easily be a SNES game and you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference. Samus starts the game without most of her abilities, but regains most of them and several new tricks throughout the game. Some are simple but well though out, like the ability to automatically grab ledges and pull yourself up. Simple, sure… but you’ll be surprised how much jumping it’ll save you. Other abilities are newer and cooler, like charging freeze missiles that freeze a room at a time. The difficulty of the game is pretty much spot on. Early in the game things will flow smoothly, not too tough and not too easy. As the game progresses though, the challenges get harder and harder until things really heat up. By the end of the game, you’ll be fighting for your life. Unlike previous Metroid adv.

Have you ever played a Metroid game before. If you have or haven’t the experience is stillm the same: the rush of excitement when you find a new weapon and beat it SA-X and the Omega Metroid. The first time I beat it I had 5:48 and 46% rate of item collection. Though I still saw her with a suit I felt rush that I fulfilled yet another mission for Samus Aran. I kept playing(Believe me, beating it gets easier and easier) I got under 2 hours and 100% item collection. I felt so honored to finally see Samus in a good view (unlike the other games). I recommend this to any gamer…This is a must have game for GBA!Graphics-10Plot-10Control-10Sound-9Replay-10Best moment- Getting the best ending.

I think Nintendo did a great job on this game. The graphics are great, sometimes you just gotta have your 2-D side-scrolling action. Even thoug this game is awesome and has one the best story lines from any Metroid game I think that they could have done better. I think taht this game has 2 flaws just 2. The first flaw is the fusion suit. Samus looks good in blue but I think they should have kept true to the color of the power suit. I also will include her ship in this first flaw. do we really want to look at purple ship for the rest of the Metroid games? It’s cool and all but the old Gunship was awesome. The second flaw is that the game is so short. Before I bought it I played it at Target for ten minutes and I got through 3 bosses and got the missles, morph ball and morph ball bomb, and that was only playing for ten minutes. You can probably beat it 3-4 hours if you just played it solid. Of course some people I know do not agree with me but they are still only on the Magmoor Caverns on Metroid Prime and I beat it 3 times already, and he bought 5 months before me. Anyway, this game is great. A little too short and the fusion suit gets sort of annoying but I love this game. You will too. So buy it.

This is a Gameboy Advanced game straight out of my childhood; this was my only Metroid game for quite a long time, and this left a huge impression on me. Samus, the bona-fide badass of the galaxy. It feels so good to have my hands on a copy of this again and playing it, especially since the only other game I had for my GBA SP was Pokemon Leaf Green.shop shipped the product quickly.Onto the game itself.Metroid Fusion features our heroine, Samus, who has been infected by a previously unknown virus. It quickly multiplies in her body until she is more X-virus than Samus; a vaccine is developed in time to save her life, but she is now physically deformed and has to have her body armor spliced from her form, removing many of her former abilities. Very shortly after she recovers, she is sent to a space station sustaining various ecosystems from the Metroid planet, which has been invaded by an all-too familiar new force…This game is a bit more linear in its presentation than prior entries to the series, but it has a strong storyline and brings some interesting new things to the table. You retrieve old powers, get some new ones, and become even more of a badass than you were before as you run around helping to solve the problems of the distraught space station. The game has some very frustrating and sometimes unforgiving moments, but pushing through it and finding that next step is very rewarding. Exploration is not only very much encouraged, but required, as you will not only need.
