I haven’t had feelings of actual love for a Gameboy Advanced game before I played Metroid Fusion. I haven’t been a Metroid fan in the past, but am now because of this amazing title. This game IS simply amazing. You will feel a part of this game. The graphics and audio leave nothing to the imagination and put you in the shoes of Samus. The story line is one of the best I’ve experienced with a side scroller. This game is a MUST have for anyone with a GBA.

In 1994. Nintendo released Super Metroid for the Super nintendo Entertainment system and created a true classic. it was eight years until another metroid game was released. In 2002 Nintendo released the fourth installment in the franchise, Metroid Fusion. story: the bounter hunter samus aran is visiting the planet SR388 when a strange thing attacks her. The scientist manage to save her by taking off peices of her suit and conclude that it is an X parasite. samus must then travel the huge space station to track down her items and face this mysterious entity. concept: Like the previous Metroids, metroid Fusion is an actoin adventure/Platform Game. the point of the game is to collect items and defeat bosses as well as gain new abilitys to assist you on your quest. Controls: the game controls quite well. you use the D-Pad to move samus around, You use ethear the A or B button to shoot( i have not played the game in a while so I forget), You can change the direction of your aiming by pressing R and moving the D-Pad in one of eight directions. Players should catch on easily and get the rythm down pretty quickly. Graphics: The charecter animation is Superb, the art dircetion is remeniscent of a comic book and the visuals were just Very well done. The sections look different and the beam shots look realy cool. Music/Sound: The sound effects are excellent, from the beam firing, to the wall jumping to the enemy shreiks, its all fantastic. the games music is good and all.

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a Metroid game. I’ve gotten all three of the previous games and couldn’t help but get this one. It’s very faithfull to the originals. If you’ve played any of the others, you’ll feel right at home with this one. What’s good: After the years of not having a Metroid game come out, fans finally have something to sate their addictions, and this game does that quite well. The missions are straight forward. You have a computer named Adam that tells you where to go and what to do. You do it, save the game and get back in touch with Adam. No fuss, no muss. It’s all laid out what to do next. Graphics are incredible. Especially given the size of the screen. What’s Bad: While it’s nice to have missions that are straight forward, it nags at me that the game goes so far as to restrict your movement to the level that pertains to your particular mission. You’re not AS free to move around as in other Metroid games. What’s Neutral: They’ve completely revamped Samus’ look. Of course she’s recognisable as Samus, but she’s radically altered. I kinda miss the old costume. Some of the old items have merged or changed slightly. Example, Hi-Jump is now a combination of Hi-Jump and Spring-Ball. The differant missles, instead of using one or the other, stack the abilities. You don’t just have a regular missile, super missile, or ice missile. You have an ice-super-missle. Small differance, but you’d be surprised what some people would fuss over.Over all, great g.

This was my first Metroid, but I loved it. The game has solid gameplay mechanics, simple but interesting story, and addictive elements to it–such as the addition of new powerups to Samus’s suit as you progress through the game. For any action game fan, I highly recommend this game. Metroid fans don’t even need to hesitate picking this game up. Even though it was released over 5 years ago, it has aged very well and is still very fun.

I don’t play video games much, and I certainly don’t review them, but I have to go out on a limb here to give Metroid Fusion some stars. I just finished the game (yeah, just…like I said, I don’t play much) and it was absolutely incredible. The graphics are great and the gameplay is set up in a brilliant way to keep you entertained from start to finish. That said, I found the game nigh impossible at times, but there always is a solution to each predicament. I loved how intricate the story was, and how most of the maps ended up being puzzles. I’m going to look more into the Metroid series, because the creativity in this game was phenomenal. There’s a whole host of “bad guys,” tons of bosses, and weapons gallore that just get better and better. My only wish would be that I could have played around with Samus at full power a little before the credits rolled, but oh well. This game is still incredible; it is an absolute blast to play and it’ll work your gray matter too. 5 stars, easily.

It’s Metroid and it’s the perfect handheld gift. Samus’ new suit looks great and so does the rest of the game. Coolest of all beat it and then hook up to prime and get the original Metroid. This game is sweet.
