This was one of my favorite Mario games. It had been such a long time since I’ve played this game, It’s still just as fun as it was back in the days of the SNES. Memorable Yoshi made his first appearance, the “bouncing” Bowzer final boss in that clown upside down helicopter?.., Trying to get 100%. This game is a classic that no one should be without. I highly recommend this to both the older ones who can reminisce about this classic and the young who never got a chance to play one of the best SNES games.

This Snes classic is the best! When I was a kid, it was one of my favorite games (this and Sonic of course). So being able to play this on the Nintendo DS (DS plays advance games…but I am not sure if the 3DS does) is awesome. If you are older and want to go back into memory lane, get this buy and enjoy the classic mario.

This continues to be a favorite. It’s challenging yet not too challenging, which encourages the kids to keep trying even when things don’t go their way. The game does not get monotonous. It keeps them interested and encourages a ‘never give up’ mentality.

I like this game it is very similar to the Super Nes version except for collecting the Yoshi coins. I enjoyed the similarities, that is why I bought it.

This game is challenging and very well made with nostalgia, one complaint, it came in poorly packaged, it was taped to a piece of cardboard and took forever to take the tape out without damaging the label, then I insreted it in my GBM and didn’t work, I blew in the cartridge 4 times and finally worked, sound, pixels, and color were good, problem is that I only have a box that is used for games with no cases so I use MKSC’s case for it since it is really clean and don’t want for the cartridge to get dirty, but I still recommend this game to anyone, I bring this game to school and my friend gets really nostalgic since he played it when he was 5 on the SNES

I use to play this game all the time on the snes, and now it’s great to finally have it again on a handheld. Very fun, I really enjoy how a blue yoshi can pop out of a normal yoshi egg instead of having to repeat the star world level to get another one. My only complaint is the dialect they added and the way luigi jumps and has different skills. I would really enjoy luigi if it wasn’t for the extra long jumps and the way yoshi acts with him. But, still, this is a great game and will comtinue to be my favs! :)

I was lucky enough to be around when Super Mario World first came out. The game made a huge impact upon its release, and it changed the way platformers were made. Super Mario Bros. 3 was already a big change from the original, but this…this was an even bigger change. Better graphics, bigger levels, alternate exits, secret worlds, Yoshi, and a pretty extravagant ending (at the time). Up until I had to sell my SNES just a few years ago, the game would get regular play because it’s that good. But this review is for the GBA version. I got this for my daughter, who even at her early age, is doing really good with games. ‘thought it’d be a good stepping stone to introduce her to the traditional Mario formula because of how accessible it is to people of all ages, and since it can be played on the DS too. Well, it looks like going from the SNES to the GBA was a big change in its own right.Basic story that you should all know by now- Bowser kidnaps Princess Toadstool. Mario goes to save her. ‘jumps around and runs through tons of different levels. The end. But along the way, you’ll have to take out Bowser’s kids, clear out some ghost houses, and if you want, find the secret Star Road levels, and then the secret levels within those too! The game takes a while to beat, though hardcore players can probably clear the whole thing in one sitting. The game has a good save feature, and for this GBA version, you can now save and continue/quit whenever you want. Gameplay is very easy since yo.

I remember having this game on the snes and fell in love with it. Now i can have it on the go. Does not fully work with the DS lite but if you have a spare SP you are more than good to go.
