When you first see this game think it might not be whorth your time. But you are wrong. This game, although slow in pace of each beast excluding Rodan, is a solid alround fun buy. The sounds are all spot on to the classic films. And what can be more fun than laying the smack-down on a poor unscepecting city. Wheather it be LAX or Big Ben, its just plain fun to destroy cities, there’s even an antire mode dedacated on distroying a city of your choice. This game even upholds its goofy look of thier rubber suited counter parts; slice a foot: the monster shows its pain by hopping on one foot, holding its smited one! With a corny plot, excellent graphics that mimic the films’ look, good gameplay this is a fun and good buy, even though all monsters, and areas can be unloked in an hour and a half.

When I saw the trailer for this game I knew I had to have it. In fact, I bought the cube just so I could play this game! Every match is like a short Godzilla movie with awesome graphics, and authentic sounds.

This is a pretty good gamePROS:A GREAT TITLEGREAT GRAPHICSGREAT SOUNDGREAT Characters and MOVESCONS:You start the game wih 3 players out of 11 (You have to unlock the other 8)Same thing with cities you play in.

  7. GameraRocks

By today’s standards, the graphics to this game aren’t the best, but this game is still as fun as the best fighting games out there. The thing about this game is that you don’t have to be a fan of Godzilla to enjoy it. I have been a fan, however, of Godzilla for many years. But, who doesn’t like being monsters and destroying the city in an all out brawl? The story pokes fun at itself by having weird looking aliens that have comedy to them as they threaten to take over the world using the monsters from Monster Island. Like I said, it is funny (intentionally) and a nice homage to the Godzilla films of the 60s and 70s. Compared to the more recent release of “Save the Earth”, the selection of monsters seems limited, but I argue the fact that perhaps the monsters look better on this game during gameplay than they do in its sequel. Overall, this is a fun game to have but the exact same game as “Godzilla: Save the Earth. The only difference is that this game has less monster selections to choose from and less cities to destroy with no mini games at all compared to the other. So, if you have the other game already, you basically have a better version of this when it comes to quantity. If you are a fan of classic Gamecube games or don’t have the other game, then is will be fun to have in your collection.

This game calls for one to four players. At the beginning you choose one of three monsters. Your monster has all kinds of fighting techniques. For example, hand punches, kicks, and other powers like fire balls and lasers are some of the abilities of the different monsters. Defeat the other monsters and win addtional monsters and levels. Do you see now why they call this "Destroy All Monsters"? Buy it now! This is a tremendous action game.

Great game for kids. No blood or gore, just big rubber monsters bouncing around on the screen knocking cartoon buildings down. Sort of a WWF wrestling with those classic monsters. Lots of hidden moves, button combos, etc. You will need a GameCube controller if using a WII as the WIImotes dont have enough buttons on them to control the monsters as designed originally for the GameCube. They are under $10 online. You also may want to get a GameCube/Wii memory card if you want to save your points. Graphics are good, commentary in game is a little weak. Story is thin. My 11 year old pretty much beat the game after a week, but still plays with 6 yr old brother who can still beat daddy.
