This is like making a Ring 2 just because the last one is a hit doesn’t mean make more this is pretty much driving a dead horse in the ground
i was so excited to order this and it was scratched when i received it so i am highly disappointed so i only gave it two stars!!! i want to return it as soon as possible.

Two star game, five star fun? How does that work? Now, to begin, the ONLY reason I’m giving this game two stars is because it is warning to people who have NO clue (like I didn’t) what this game is. I was at the store looking to buy San Andreas, but they didn’t have it, so I opted for this one title, now, don’t get me wrong, this is still GTA material, but, this (and Vice City Stories) is a remake of the PSP version into the PS2 version, which, to me, it doesn’t quite work. The fun is still there but the graphics aren’t as good and the movement aren’t as crip, which, after playing Vice City I had raised the bar high for GTA. Like I said, this game isn’t bad IF you know what you’re buying, but if you don’t have a clue, I’d suggest you rent it first to see what you’re getting.

If you really loved the original Vice City and played the San Andreas game, then you are familiar enough with how the game goes…follow the storyline, do some side missions, find the packages and the jumps, and so on and so on.This is very easy compared to VC and SA. It took me less than one day to complete all the missions. The graphics were far better than VC and on par with SA. The choices of radio stations were great. The cars performed pretty well for what one should expect in the car you were driving.If one were to break into any of the GTA games, I would say start with this one as it is so easy.If I had to change something in it, I would have the characters with the ability to swim as in SA and the chance to buy his own clothing.I didn’t hate it, but it didn’t make me go wow either.

Gta transcends what”playing”a video game means. Rock star productions are the best ps2 games by far. They expertly utilized the escapism of the movie experience. Premium storylines, Gritty dialogue with subtext and actually and top it off with a world that’s yours.

a somewhat under-rated gta game. it’s fun. a little different than gta 3 since you have the use of motorcycles, and there are some minor differences in the maps for gta 3 and liberty city, but still a blast to play
