wow! I don’t think I have ever played a dragonball game that has been worth my time. This game is the first to break that horrid trend. Dbz 3 is simply amazing in terms of gameplay, graphics, and even sfx, in most ways. The fighting is incredible and this time there are not only transformations but there are dragon rushes, which is an executed “super attack like” combo that shows off a flurry of attacks. There are also ultimate attacks that show off a character’s most famous attacks. Seeing them is incredible fun; however, I must add in that I am a huge DB fan so I might be a little biased. The Story mode captures the story of everyone in the manga except it would be nicer if they added in some stuff to show what happened. What I mean is during dialogue, they just talk and there is sfx. So if you don’t know the story of dragonball, you will get lost. All in all, this is a great great game that is definitely worth your time. It has a LOT of value has well, meaning you can devote a lot of game play time into it.

After Years of waiting, I finally have had the pleasure of enjoying Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3, after missing It for so many years, I get to appreciate it in all of its glory, I remember having Budokai 1 and 2 the day they first came out, I loved them both and I didn’t think that it was possible to make it any better…I was wrong. Many aspects of the first 2 Budokai games were improved upon in this sequel, a couple new game modes were added, as well as a couple new characters and new moves for new and old for each to boot! In the Dragon Adventure mode, it allows free flight to get to your mission (Marked by a red dot on your map) or a side mission which can be found by using your scouter/Dragon Radar and is represented by a scroll in the upper right of your screen as you pass over it. This game will keep you occupied for hours as you fight your way through the sagas from the Dragon Ball to Dragonball GT, There wasn’t anything I didn’t enjoy about this game.

This game right here is one of my favorite Dragon Ball Z games, second only to "Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3." I was thinking about ordering the Buokai HD Collection just to play this game and the original Dragon Ball Z Budokai, but then I found out that they took out the original soundtracks and censored some material unnecessarily. So I decided to buy the original PS2 copies of Budokai and Budokai 3, and I’m so glad I did.

I heard great things about this game, so I purchased it.However, like most fighting games, it’s not as fun when you’re playing against the AI rather than a human player.

I ordered the Greatest Hits version of the game knowing it would have extras the original version did not. Due to an error (which was not the shop’s fault, and was actually a manufacturer error on the part of Atari; it’s a long story), the game I received was the original, non-special edition version. I contacted the shop, and they went out of their way to make sure I was sent a correct replacement copy. Would absolutely buy from this shop again. :)

The best points: all enemies can be seen, there’s a storyline that is touching and makes sense, there are nice weapons and good magic, young inexperienced RPG players could start out with this game, then step it up to something more complex. My thoughts: This isn’t the kind of game that has extra missions or other side stuff that you can do for hours and hours. It’s a start to finish game, and the strategy involved in breaking down the system is exciting in my eyes. When I first played I was really frustrated by how the turn based system worked, but once I understood all of the symbols, knew what was generally going to happen I found fighting to be extremely amusing and played through the game quickly. It’s definitely something you will have to thoroughly enjoy otherwise you’ll have a hard time playing this game more than once. Also, I’m an old-school gamer I like for there to be a beginning and end, none of that funny business of running around and doing all kinds of secret missions, and side missions, then again, they can be fun too.

    Gift for a friend.

The game didn’t came in the original box, BUT it came with the original manual and original cover… ONLY ONE THING I DIDN’T LIKE WAS THAT THE GAME SAID “USED LIKE NEW”… BUT IT CAME SO SCRATCHED THAT I WASN’T SURE IF IT WAS GONNA WORK… but it did so I’m pretty happy… Besides GREAT GAME!
