I have had at least 20 hours of fun with this game over the last two months. All GD fans should be satisfied, as it covers songs from the early albums all the way through 21st Century Breakdown. It was awesome being able to unlock the full albums for both this and American Idiot. This is a great deal… buy it NOW.

It’s a ton of fun, and fun to do career mode and go from early to recent times.Unfortunatly the early stuff isn’t as much fun because power chord mashing is more fun on a real guitar than on a RB guitar. IMO guitar gets more fun from american idiot on. Drums are definetly tough, and my own goal is to get them all done on expert and be as good as tre…I would’ve liked to see some songs from kerpluk or smoothed out, but I imagine it has something to do with ownership rights as they were on lookout.
I was hesitant in getting this for some reason but I’m really glad I did. It brings back memories with some classic 90’s alternative/punk nostalgia.It has the feel of a live concert even though you are playing to the studio albums. The crowd chimes in during certain choruses of the popular songs.I have pretty much all of the Rock Band/Guitar Hero games and I usually just play the guitar and drums but this is the first game that I’ve actually wanted to sing along with. However, I don’t like the fact that they silenced the curse words in the lyrics. There are also some fun and interesting bass lines in this game.
What an awesomeeeeeeee game for Rock Band. I got this for my apartment and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Rock Band franchise is an excellent set of games for the X-Box 360. I have Rock Band 2, 3 and The Beatles titles, plus the guitar, the drums, the mike and the keyboards. My 12 year old daughter loves Green Day, so I bought it for her. I am not a fan of GD, so I don’t enjoy as much as her when we play, and that’s the reason I give the game 4 stars instead of 5, and only 3 stars for the fun. Otherwise, my daughter’s had a blast with the game, even playing solo, when she only sings the songs, and tries to score big following the lyrics and tones of the songs. If my daughter did this review, she would certainly give it, at least 4.5 stars in both ratings, because she likes it very much, as the Green Day fan that she is.So, if you’re a fan of RockBand and also a fan of Green Day, this is the title for you. For sure, you won’t be dissappointed.
Always loved Green Day, and now my sons do too! Pretty cool graphics and a good library of music from Green Day.

My girlfriend is a Green Day fan, so I knew she’d like the music, but the game itself is really fun for her. We haven’t got anything but the microphone so she can sing along, but I might check out a guitar or drums to join in. Very cool game, especially for GD fans

I think this game is very good. It has plenty of songs to choose from. There’s a lot to do in this game. There is a career mode, a quick play mode, and freestyle drumming modes. Overall, it’s a great game.

While there’s not much new here for those familiar with the recent Rock Band games, Green Day fans will certainly like this game. However, like other band-specific RB games (e.g. Beatles), you only get about half of the popular song’s you expect…and you get to buy the rest from the marketplace at around two bucks each.

I honestly just purchased this to for the download code to use in Rock Band 3. I’m not a huge Green Day fan, but I was pleasantly surprised by how many of their songs I like. I would not pay full price unless I was a hardcore fan, but not bad for $15 new.

I bought this game used from the retrolio warehouse, and when it came in i was surprised. It was very clean and came shrimp wrapped. I opened it up and found that it looked brand new. Great game overall, it is great for Green Day fans especially =)
