I bought this game to use with my Band Hero bundle because the songs on Band Hero were getting kind of old. This game rocks and I love all the hits. Highly recommended!

This is a challenging disk and alot of fun to play, it challenges even the most experienced player. I’ve enjoyed it emensly!

I thought this game was sort of fun, but way too hard, which ruined it for me. There are songs I had no problem with on the previous releases, but now can barely get 5 stars on just on medium. Granted, the first couple of venues are normal medium, but by the time you get to the last ones, you’re wondering WTH. I don’t see the point in making the game so freaking hard it’s almost impossible to play. I don’t know what the creators were thinking of when they decided to make it even more challenging. (As if Fire & Flames wasn’t hard enough already.) I can understand Hard, Expert, and Expert+ being crazy, but when Medium is more like Hard, it’s ridiculous. Especially when note layouts are different than the first time the song came out and there’s more of them.I got this game for one song: Play With Me by Extreme, since it’s the only one by the band that’s been on either Guitar Hero or Rockband. Overall, I doubt I’ll ever graduate to Hard with this pain in the you-know-what, so that really sucks. (Hey, what can I say? I’m not getting any younger and already having arthritis at my age is no picnic.) If GH games continue like this, I’ll probably stick with Rockband because the songs are more playable, character creation is better, and the downloads have been backwards compatible and they haven’t robbed me twice for the same song. I won’t be buying anything with the GH logo on it new but instead wait for it to go down in price or find it used.

Just finished playing through all the songs on the game and have to say it is great fun! The songs selection rocks for the most part (rather would have had ‘infected’ on here than ‘hey man nice shot’). Also note worthy is that all the songs are available from the get go without any codes!!It really is the most polished guitar hero game yet; all the parts of the band play well and pretty much as they should with no frustrations; however I seem to get heavy feedback on vocals where my friends don’t.Simply too much fun.
