I got mine in yesterday and it was in great condition to the point where it looked brand new minus the one scratch on the silver circle around the psp logo. Really good platform too, if your looking to buy a psp then you’re in the right place
As these bad boys seem to be fading into relative obscurity, they’ve become something of a collector’s item. I’m happy to say that my used system functions perfectly, and although I originally only bought this for the MGS games and Daxter, I’m going to be checking out more of the library. Also for anyone reading, the PSP has a thriving homebrew scene, meaning you can pretty much turn it into a super emulator if you have the time and patience.
The PSP was delivered promptly but not entirely as described. It came with all items listed but was not piano black as described. It was a Japanese edition lavender purple.
This product was a wonderful surprise good quality and it had a surprise of a 8gb memory card. Excellent shop
When the PSP first came out I took a look at it and thought it was too expensive for the games it would have. However, with the lower price, new games and PS3 connectivity the new lighter PSP Slim (I have the 2001) has so much to offer I can hardly believe I waited so long to buy one.I bought my PSP Slim from retrolio with Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core and Gods of War: Chains of Olympus. Without a doubt, this was the perfect time to buy as these two games would be A+ on any system. What I hadn’t counted on was that I would actually spend more time using the system as an RSS/Podcast player and PS3 remote play system even more than I play those two games. I love having the built in WiFI that allows me to go online and listen to my favorite podcasts real time without having to download and update with my desktop computer.Some people say Remote Play is a waste, but I am having fun going back and playing FFVII for the PSOne on my PSP with Remote Play.I also love being able to upload movies from my TiVo to the PSP and watch my favorite movies where-ever I am at. I plan on loading up a few movies for a vacation trip we have planned this year.This is a great time to buy a PSP and the 2000 systems are a great deal. I’ve only had this model for a month, but I will probably by a second system this summer for a backup and to play games with my wife while we are on vacation. I have my eye on that GOW:COO Red job! This is definitely the system for people who want more than just game play ou.
Just a warning, make sure you get your memory card now; I made the mistake of ordering the system but waiting to order the memory card. Basically i got to play the same start up levels for a few days while I waited for the system to come in. Keep an eye our for bundles, a much better deal. Often, you can get a bundle for the same price as just buying the system and card, but it will also come with a game.I gave this system 4 stars because it only lasted about a year and half before keys started to give out, granted I played this a lot, but I expect it to hold out a bit longer than that.

I have been wanting to get a Playstation 2 for quiet awhile but I decided that I probably would not play with it as much as I would like. So I decided to get the PSP. I can play it anywhere. I don’t have to worry about interferring with someone using the television. Currently I use it to surf the web and play games. As soon as I order my sd card I will be able to enjoy it even more.

Picked up the PSP after having my PS3 for a couple of months. I was just looking for something that I could play while traveling, during lunch, or just hanging out at home. I wasn’t that interested in some of the other features like MP3, picture viewing. At some point I’ll probably pick up a movie and see how it looks but for the most part this will be a game only system for me.Over all I’m pleased with the PSP. The graphics are very good, the quality seems good, and the selection of games isn’t bad. Some of the other positives are:1.) Battery life- seems good to me for casual use.2.) Wifi- love the ability to go on-line and play against others on-line.3.) Interface- the interface is just like the PS3. I think the interface is very clean and easy to use.Some of the cons are:1.) Controls- playing some FPS type games can be a bit of a challenge with the controls. My hand/fingers tend to cramp up.2.) With the Piano black model a memory stick is not included. So by the time you buy the PSP, memory stick, 1 game and a travel bag you are out a fair amount of money.

Great psp console, can do a lot of things with it, games,photo,music,videos,internet/wifi,skype,radio…all which is great for traveling!Great selections of games to choose from.Console is also light, it weigh the same as my 30gb ipod.It is a little pricey, considering to get functions like photo,music,videos..etc to work you will need a “Memory Stick Pro Duo”Don’t doubt this, if you feel it, just buy it.

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase! I’ve been wanting a psp since I was a kid and I’m 18 now. The console came so clean, looks exactly the way I thought it would. All buttons work and everything works great. I also loved how they included an issue card for if I have any issues with it and know what to do and explains why something’s are the way they are. I appreciated that. It’s really helped me understand why the WiFi wouldn’t connect.

weightwise, this thing completely, if not more then lives up to the advertisement of slim.video-out, i’m sure it works great, be sure to understand that it provides video-out for all TVs with photos and uploaded video on your pro duo card, but to get the “featured” video-out for the games and other UMD media you must have a TV with progressive scan. probably you should AT LEAST have an LCD TV. you should read up on the televsisions you own to see if this will work. i’d guess that unless your tv is prety damn new it won’t.also, the backside of the psp is now made of the same shiny material sony puts on the front of the psp. you’d think something they know is lighter and therefore will be thrown around more by owners would need something less scratch prone to be on the underside.charging is compatible with the old charge cord too.my directional buttons started to squeak after about a month’s use, but only every once and awhile. don’t use those much anyways. but if sony gets enough complaints they may replace them more.

I still don’t understand why anyone would choose the Nintendo Ds or Gameboy Advance over the PSP. Compared to any of the handhelds, the graphics are phenomenal!!! Awesome selection of games as well. I personally really like FPS games like Call of Duty and Socom on this system, and my son enjoys the Star Wars Battlefront, or Burnout. I really think they have the best selection for game titles for handhelds. This is so GREAT for long road trips or airplane rides. I love the fact that you can play movies (although it is a very limited library) and your music library on this, as well as surf the web. I have an Ipod as well, but this is much more useful on trips because sometimes you just get bored playing a game and want to switch to a movie/music or vice versa This is my 2nd psp and it gets a lot of use in our house. If it died tomorrow, I would get another one right away.

Item was as described and in good condition. It works great. Only thing I wish is that it came with the power stick. I knew to order one separately but it is not coming in as quickly as the psp did.
