This game works great! I just received it from my wife today 2/14/2013 for Valentines. She knew I had been looking at it. I was a little leery about buying after reading some of the reviews. A LOT of people complained that you had to be sitting 2 feet from the console and had to have the wireless controllers pointing right at it. I found this to be NOT true. I got as far as my room would allow me to which is about 15 feet, pointed the controller in all kinds of directions and it worked perfect! Maybe its because I had fresh brand new batteries in the controllers?Anyways, having played this some 35 years ago it brought back a lot of memories! Funny that this was the bomb back then compared to today’s games and graphics. My favorite is space invaders!UPDATE: Ok, I see why some people say you have to sit close to the console and point the controller right at it. This happened to me when the batteries started wearing down. So I got some rechargeable batteries and problem solved.

We bought this for our twin’s 8th birthday. It came in a timely manner and they have had a blast with it since it came out of the box. Has a great selection of old favorite s to choose from. The only issue is that the joystick controllers are a bit on the cheap side, would have liked them to be a bit sturdier. Though I do like the option of the system being compatible with the original Atari controller. All in all it was a great product for the price and would definitely recommend this product for nice blast from the past.

What to get the teenage nerd that has everything? RETRO! My sons love playing the old classic games. They have actually written some of these for their computers, but it’s fun to play with the joystick. Can even hook up in our 2014 Odyssey!

The Flashback 4 is really a blast from the past! The only issue I seem to have is with the controllers. (You really need to have the paddles to be able to play certain games like Break Out) Other than that, it’s pretty much what I had expected it to be. And that would be fun!

Its a good re-incarnation, but its not perfect, and some of the games don’t play well. It would help alot if this included info on how to play some of the games, or some history of the games included. Overall, a good system, but it feels slightly incomplete.

This brings me back to my youth when all I did was play space invaders, asteroids and pong. I was a little upset with the fact that the paddle controllers are not included. Also, the paddle controllers I bought seem to be out of calibration because they jump all over the place and are hard to control.

I was surprised when I opened the box and saw how little it was.Pros: Small and compact; lots of games; true retro gamingCons: the joysticks need to be pointed towards the game console in order for them to operate properly; the actual joysticks are much smaller than the original…so if you have big hands like I do…you might have some difficulties playing;Overall…nice console, well built. More classic games could have been added to the game list.

El equipo funciona a la perfección. Ningún problema con el video en un televisión LCD grande. Me trajo muchos recuerdos y tengo horas de diversión. Los controles inalámbricos no me han dado ningun problema, solo si los muevo mucho pierden la sincronización, en este caso solo presiono el boton rojo de Fuego y listo, a seguir la partida. Lo mejor de todo, le gano a los jugadores expertos en Xbox, PS3 y demás. Gracias ATARI.
