I got it for the grands. They like it almost as much as I did ‘back in the day’! Hooray!

This was a Christmas gift for my 36-yr-old son who remembers old Atari from his grade school days. Because he has all the other game consoles and popular zombie and military games, I was hesitant that this might be too simple and silly. He loved it and said it is actually just like playing the games he loved 25 years ago. The investment and the paddles I bought were outrageously LOW PRICED! I have spent more for just one X-Box game. Go quickly and buy this and have some great family fun!

At 40 years of age today, this console really brings me back to my childhood. Playing all the games that I grew up with before any high-resolution graphics this Atari system is a lot of fun

Yesterday, to be exact, I was doing the Usual Friday rounds when i came across out of the corner of my eye, The word ATARI.Bam! Flashback 4. I Collect the flashback series and what a better deal than 40$? Knowing what i Know about retrolio.com, and their 79.99 Bull crap, I knew it was my day. I have both 2 and 3 but never bothered with 1, as it was modeled after the 7800, and i am a 2600 kinda guy.I have an original 2600 as well, the heavy SIXER model, and i must say its quite nice after i refurbished it, I am telling you this, Most of the games on the Flashback 4, I have on the Actual 2600.They are not Duplicated,Recreated, or Changed from any of the original scripting. All the games on the Flashback 4 are the real deal, and i bet they use a Stella Emulator inside it.Now, we all Know of the Infamous Flashback 2. You dont have an Atari 2600? No big, this guy comes with complete instructions on the inside on how to Solder it and Solder a Cartridge Pin reader to make it Emulate actual Atari 2600 Cartridges. this was done on purpose by the Manufacturer. Its got 40 Games, and Its on screen Game selection is a hideous Bright Blue. No Screenshots, YOu cant pause it and Poor layout. But my fav because of the No pause, which gives you the actual Atari Feel. Then, there is the Flashback 3, In design, its Almost the same has the Flashback 4 save The ability for Wireless controllers. It has 65 games, and Has better made and less movement restricted controllers, Its On screen game selection.

I am an 80’s fanatic so this took me back. Wish it had the more popular games like Donkey Kong, PAC Man, amongst other favorites! Quick shipping!

Well made, fun to play (of course)!Atari rocks! Been playing video games since I was 8, and the original Atari was my first console. This brought back many a happy memory!

The much-discussed problems with the wireless controller are far overstated. As long as you are sitting in front of the console and not jumping around while you play, they work fine. I would recommend getting the paddle controllers for some games, though, as joysticks of any kind don’t work well with games like Pong and Circus Atari. I wish the unit included a few Activision games, but overall it was a good purchase.

This gaming console reminds me of my childhood and what was cool back then. It is great to have the wireless controls instead of all the wires. Bought at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $20.00 on sale. Wish it had Pitfall, Raiders of the Lost Ark and some of the other more popular games, but overall this is a great console. My 13-year old Nephew was shocked at what I had when I was his age. Lots of fun for everyone.
