The game works fine on the Xbox 360, however, some people reviewing this product have not done enough research. First, let me explain how an original Xbox game works. The Xbox 360 uses a different computing language than the original Xbox, therefore, the Xbox 360 uses software emulation software on the Xbox 360 hard drive that translates the programming language to be read on the Xbox 360. Common issues that people tend to have is not keeping their Xbox 360 updated which may disable the emulation features. If the Xbox was bought pre-owned, check the hard drive to see if it is a Microsoft brand drive. Microsoft hard drives are the only hard drives compatible with original Xbox games, if it is a 3rd party drive, the emulation software will not be on it and you’ll get an error. Please troubleshoot before writing a poor review for a great XBOX 360 COMPATIBLE GAME.

I had always played Halo 2 Anniversary on MCC but I never got around to playing the OG version of Halo 2, this is a great game and I would recommend it for die hard Halo fans and newcomers alike.
