It’s been so long since I’ve played Halo 3 and ODST that I don’t really know how to compare. I remember them being good, although the graphics looked a little dated. Same goes for this one. The story was good, although a bit confusing. The music scores are great. I like the changes they’ve made to the guns, including changing the sounds and feel of all the legacy weapons. It was a little short; I finished in just two sittings. I haven’t had a chance to play the multi-player yet, so I can’t comment there. For a guy who’s much older and busier with work and social life, this was a great escape for me to feed the Halo nostalgia that’s been with me since I first purchased the XBOX with Halo: Combat Evolved way back when.

I am a long time fan of the Halo series. BUT…I can’t tell you what color Mastercheif’s cyber underwear is like some of these game heads(when do you guys work or leave the house???)or what Hair Dye Cortana is now using. Much could be said about her…but this is a family site. Wow! Smokin!!!!all I know is that Halo 4 (and I am VERY late to the party getting it)via the graphics, sound, gameplay is even better than Halo 2.You cannot go wrong with Halo 4. The franchise is honored by 343’s pick up of halo. I’m not like many gamers where I am super beyond game slave…but the one game I keep coming back to is Halo. I am glad to have them and they are in a special section of my games box. I try not to let myself ‘be completed by’ ANYTHING or any game in the cyber world. Rather be streetluging down a mountain, kayaking or … But halo gets me pretty out there sometimes!

Awesome game, true to the trilogy, makes me wish I had saved a few of the little flood guys to unleah on the Prometheans. The Bolt pistol is awful, the Needler kicks even more butt than it used to.The Plasma Rifles/Repeaters are gone, so are the Revenants. The Wraiths are amzingly slow and hard to aim.The marines can’t drive the Warthog to save their lives, but are amazing shots (thank GOODNESS they fixed this).Cortana is hot, but she’s just design, glowy, none of the numbers/symbols scrolling along her body, matrix style like the book description. She’s got wide hips and would have no trouble in child birth. The ending is rather bizarre, and it leaves you wondering.Spartan Ops is really cool, and the BEST thing about Halo 4 is once you rank up a few times you can choose your own weapons for the start of each mission instead of the Assault Tifle (Yay!) (Loadouts under Spartan hub)

This game is a major improvement over Halo 3 in many ways.First the visuals are amazing I never believed consoles could deliver such stunning graphics. Even the audio is just outstanding,I bought this along with the Ear Force X12 Gaming Headset and Amplified Stereo Sound because I was annoyed with my TV’s sub par audio performance anyways here are the pros and cons.Pros:GraphicsAudioGameplayMultiplayer (surprisingly)Campaign (It was good but a sad ending :/)Difficulty (I played Reach and my god it was impossible)Cons:Short Story (Took me around 6-7 hours to finish)Maybe the Frequent updates because I don’t have the fastest broadband connection)NO FIREFIGHT This for me wasn’t the best idea because even though it was impossible I definitely loved the Reach campaign. You can only hold 2 grenades at E3 2012 the gameplay trailer showed us the ability to hold up to 4, sadly this is not the case.Well that’s it for my review. If you are debating this or Black Ops II well I’m not sure about you but I would buy this! Take care all :)

I enjoyed Halo 4, and it was a great effort for 343 Industries, given the tremendous pressure they must have felt to live up to the Bungie games. The gameplay has been modernized with equipment and always-available sprinting, but it still plays like classic Halo, which is good. The enemies are well balanced and a challenge to take down, though the little "dog" things are pretty feeble :). The Prometheans approximate the Covenant in strength, number and tactics, so the player will feel right at home. Two differences worth noting – the AI is not as aggressive as in Bungie Halos, and the Promethean Knights’ shields are not nearly as obvious when they are dissipated, so these two differences will require a minor adjustment in game-play style. Overall, I liked Halo 4 a little less than Halo 3, but substantially more than Halo 2. I would rank all 5 games this way: Halo 1: 100%; Halo: Reach: 97%; Halo ODST: 93%; Halo 3: 90%; Halo 4: 86%; Halo 2: 70%.

Halo 4 is a great installment in the Halo franchise. The campaign is great and challenging, and the multiplayer is even better. The multiplayer environment has its bugs (as to be expected from such a big game) like dropping or freezing during a match, but it isn’t frequent enough that it is a huge deal. My favorite feature by far is the Spartan Ops feature. This feature runs you through additional gameplay and storylines while set in the multiplayer environment, i.e. respawning after a time limit and allowing you to change your load outs after deaths. The best part is that you can increase or decrease the difficulty level, all while gaining XP points to add to your multiplayer profile. Overall, I’d say this would be one of my favorite Halo games for Xbox 360, I would recommend this to anybody.

When I first heard that bungie was no longer doing halo games it gave me many doubts that 343i’s games would not live up to the rest of the series.First off, the campaign: the graphics in this game are absolutley gorgeous. Smooth textures and animations. The new motion capture was perfect. The story didn’t feel so much as a continuation of the previous story but more of a new beginning for a new series. Excellent voice acting and outstanding music. They seem to be setting it up to go more deeply into master chief’s personality. I would easily give this 5 out of 5 stars.Next up, spartan ops: this is a fun little mode set up kind of like a tv show with a new episode each week containing 5 levels each. It doesn’t really take the place of firefight (which I never really was a big fan of firefight) but more a second campaign in some ways. All the maps are either a chunk of the campaign or just a plain multiplayer map but adding aliens adds some more dynamics to the maps made for multiplayer. This mode is much better on co-op with a few friends. I would give this part 4 out of 5 stars. Now onto the multiplayer: this has to be the best part of the entire game. It is worth buying xbox live just for its multiplayer. to start off the loadout system has evolved to something much like modern warfare but it actually fits halo quite well and everything is very balanced. The pace of the multiplayer has been increased to be a bit faster than that of halo reach. The weapons feel like they have.

Halo is one of those games I buy just because I feel like everyone should own a copy. I’m usually more into realistic games like sports games and GTA, but this is an exception. I must say, the campaign was a whole lot of fun. I don’t think there is any Halo game better than this one. 343 did a great job with the graphics, gameplay, and FUN! The multiplayer is great. I like how they remade some of the Halo 3 maps. It’s like Halo 3 with much better graphics and cool load-outs. The newer maps are also very well made. They are fun and organized. Everyone should always have a Halo game in their collection of games.

I had my reservations when Microsoft’s 343 Industries took over the Halo franchise from Bungie Studios, but 343 has done a fine job with Halo 4. Overall, the game still "feels" like the earlier versions of Halo. Graphically, it’s the best looking Halo to date, and they’ve done some things with multiplayer (notably loadouts — where you get to choose the weapons and armor abilities you spawn with) that keep it interesting. As for the Campaign, it’s not quite up to the high standard Bungie set with their games, but overall you won’t be disappointed; you even get to fly a Pelican dropship in one mission! Oddly, the thing I miss the most with this version of the game is the music. The music composer of all the earlier games made by Bungie, Marty O’Donnell, remained with Bungie. As a result, the music is simply background now; it doesn’t build the same excitement or emotion the way O’Donnell’s music did. Again, the music doesn’t get in the way of the game nor is it annoying; I’d say it’s noticeably absent.

I recieved this game used, and unlike the lot of you mine works flawlessly. My complaint is that I started it and thought that I had played the level before and realized that 343 had just copied levels from previous campaigns.I was so confused as to why I was again fighting the Covenant but oh well, and at first it was rather boring. I got about two gours into it and honestly had had enough.I did finish it and it did grow on me. However, 343 added some quarks that were infuriating. The reload mission setting is quite deceptive and when I got stuck on a part I used it, thinking that because I had just changed terrians and what looked like maps that a new mission had ensued. Not the case. I had to work for like an hour just to get back to where my original mistake had been and by that time I was so pissed I didn’t want to go any further. The other thing was constantly changing the accessory pack instead of just letting the player keep what they had and liked. Most of those packs were garbage. The cloak was useless, the shield wouldn’t let you shoot, and the only one that was actually really good was the jet pack. They did this with weapons too but since that was a part of the original game it was expected. As for the weapons some were great while some were horrible, but something that was in common with all was the pitance of ammo alloted to all of them. 36 total shots for the battle rifle? What bs. Like 13 for the sniper rifle, or others like it. If soldiers today carry more r.
