I bought this since my kids (adults now) were coming home for Christmas. Our yearly tradition was going to the Harry Potter movies and we saw them all in the theater as they grew up so this game was a fun throw back for us. It’s not complicated and doesn’t take forever to finish. We had so much fun, great family game!

The questions are good and not too easy. I thought I knew everything about the HP books and movies but I was stumped on quite a few questions. This is not great for traveling just because the top comes off very easily and the cards go flying.

What you get: 100 cards (600 questions), a colored dice, a box to hold the cards and dice.Okay so here’s the deal with this game… My cousins and I are really big Harry Potter fanatics and I thought it would be really awesome to get this since we love board games. I knew that it didn’t come with a board (we improvised and used a different trivial pursuit board game). But honestly… it’s too easy!!!! The questions are basically "What is Dumbledore’s first name" Like uhh hello…..this is supposed to make me think?! I can answer these questions in my sleep! I don’t know… it’s cool to have a Harry Potter game but whether or not it’s worth it.. eh you’ll have to decide for yourself.

some answers are from the book some movie related. Definitely have to be a fan!!

We have some real HP fans in our house. This game was very good and fun for them. Some questions were a little hard but that is part of the fun. The only complaint I have is the amount of cards. Not as many as I would have liked.

This was really fun. I played with my niece (9 years old) and a few adults, and we watch harry potter a lot! We got most of them, but there were some tricky ones too. The only downside is that there aren’t that many cards, so after going through them once, you know all the answers. It was fun while it lasted though.

Before purchasing this item I saw it had some bad reviews but i wantes it and I love it . It’s a lot of fun and I like that its compact and can be taken on the go. I also like that it can be integrated into a regular trivial pursuit game . The questions are challenging but if you’ve watched the films or read the books you shouldn’t have a problem. They are based solely on the films so for all those book readers please be aware. This is a great addition to my Harry Potter collection .

What my family liked the most was that you could pick it up, start playing and stopping when you wanted to. Great stress reliever because you are constantly laughing at some of your answers, rolling the dice and eating/drinking snacks without worry of messing up the game. We often play it after the long-distance school learning is done for the day just to unwind and relax. Love it.

Good mix of questions. The item is much smaller than I expected — this does not contain a game board and is about the size of a coffee mug. It is basically just a rolling die and a set of cards in a funny shaped plastic box.The questions are a good mix for Harry Potter fans of varying backgrounds — some are tough, some are pretty obvious. Makes it more fun to play with a wider group of people.

The one thing that seemed odd is where the books and movies differ, it was unclear which the game refers to. But my family of Potterheads has found these cards fun to have around. For my younger child who has only read the first 5 books, we skip some of the questions to avoid spoilers, since she can’t answer those relating to the later years anyway. We tend to just play as a general trivia activity, we sometimes bring this with us to a restaurant to play while we wait for our food. Potter fans will definitely enjoy this game.
