Fast Delivery, Weird Game but a must have for collectors

This is NOT like Harvest Moon games, but it’s still fun in it’s own way. You run a shop and befriend villagers, you can also get married. There are plenty of character customization options which is something I look for in RPG games.Overall it’s very cute and charming, I took off 1 star because it does feel repetitive after a while..

This game was fun and addicting at first. Later on it does get repetitive but might be fun a few months later when I get bored. There are a lot of in game events that are hard to figure out how to unlock without gameplayer forums and faq walkthrough guides.

It’s a fun little game, pretty easy and basic, it’s a good time killer. There were absolutely no problems with it, it works perfectly, and I’ve had fun playing it.

HomeTown Story is a game like no other. You begin by choosing your sex, and this determines your three eligible bachelors or bachelorettes and special events exclusive to male or female. The first three to four hours are extremely slow, empty, and arduous, but if the player chooses to stick with the game, it opens up to an incredible experience. Unlike A New Beginning, HomeTown Story throws the player into the game with minimal to no explanation, so it takes awhile to accommodate oneself to the game’s mechanics and way of progressing. The game is about maintaining a shop that you inherited from your grandmother while forming long-lasting bonds with the inhabitants in a small, cozy village. Setting up the shop is simple enough: you place shelves, choose a wallpaper, and place an item with a chosen price on top of the shelf. Normal and key (i.e., those central to the story) residents will come in and out of the shop to buy certain types of items they prefer. Every time a resident picks an item, he or she will stand in line for a specific duration. As the number of people in the line increase, the player generates more revenue based off a "multiplier". After selling three items in a row, the succeeding item will be 1.5x the amount of their original prices, and this goes up to x3 of the original price of each item, after selling ten items in a row. The duration a resident stands in line is variable, depending on certain attributes (e.g., young people stay for 1-2 hours). E.

Okay, since most people who are playing this game have played Harvest Moon, understand this, this game is not Harvest Moon! Yes, the game is a go lucky game that gives you good vibes and lets you relax from the more popular mass killing games, but its also very different in its own ways!WARNING HAS SOME SPOILERS!To the people that don’t really want too much description into the game, here’s the low down of pros and cons for this game.PROS:Basically no tutorial, figure it all out on your own!Nicely customizable, from your character to how you’d like to run your store! (Other then the opening and closing times)Characters are interesting and intriguing, you can’t figure them all out from the get go!Good variety of characters and many more will come and move into your town as you progress.Lots for you to do, from running the store, exploring, doing requests, and finding all the cutscenes!Feel good feeling stays with you the whole game, I often smile while watching the cut scenes!Graphics are nice, often described as “bubbly”CONS:Camera angle is a little weird when your explore the town, takes some getting use to.No log for containing all the information of the requests you receive. I recommend having a notebook near by.DIFFERENCES From Hometown Story and Harvest Moon. You don’t give gifts to people. No live stock. No farming. No festivals.Wooing isn’t easily done by buying them all their favorite things! (I actually have no clue how you woo in this game… Talk to them?)You control y.

Bought this game on release date, having enjoyed Harvest Moon games in the past. My first impressions where that it’s slow going, you really have to look into the various forums to see if you are doing things right. Everything they wrote beforehand about it is true: you get to manage a store, starting out with only 4 shelves where you can display your wares. The store is open from 6 am till 12 pm, which doesn’t seem to leave you any time for running around in the rather extensive town. Someone comes by once a day to sell you stuff that you can sell again with a small profit. Think the market in HM Gran Bazaar but with less customers, and no way to grow your own produce or make your own things. So I thought: this can’t be it!I perused the forums, found out that it’s just as important to go into town and not stay cooped up in your store. You have to trigger events with people, to buy new stuff at the restaurant or from the local fisherman. Most people in your store seem to easily wait for two hours for you to man the cash register, so no problem there. There’s some stuff you can forage, making for a larger profit. You meet more people, people move into town, and are making more request for you to sell them. Of course you have to be on the lookout for these key items.I’ve playing some 5 gamedays now, and I can say the game grows on me. I’m interested in the story behind the townspeople, hoping to find good deals or free produce in nature. Trying to find out where the various peo.

I enjoy the game and play for hours at a time unfortunately it’s highly challenging and there are no game guides to help you out. The plush dragon I got with it was totally adorable.

I love this game control’s are a bit hard and the days are kinda slow in the game but other then that give it a shot

If you want a game that is low stress, and doesn’t take much thinking; Hometown Story for the Nintendo 3DS and 2DS could be for you. At first you start out in a scarcely populated village, with only a few houses and people. As you sell more and your business grows, more people will come to live in your village. With the incoming of more villagers, you will get many new requests and things to buy. This game’s main purpose is for running your own store. There is a little less free-play than I would have liked to see, being a long time Harvest Moon player. Overall, if I was to make a list of pro’s and con’s it would go something like the following:(If you don’t want to read the pro’s and con’s, skip to the last three paragraphs for my overall recommendation).Good points of the game-1.No energy bar/therefore no exhaustion or fatigue from staying up late.2.Easy to sell, pre-priced items (You can raise the price about 30 gold at first from what the pre-set is, and than 40 and sometimes 50 as you get to higher quality items and your store gets bigger.)3. Complete character customization, within limits of 3 pairs of clothes to choose from accessible from the start of the game.4. Cute characters with fun, easy to follow story lines. As the game advertises, depending on the choices you make your game can turn out in a number of different ways, which makes everyone’s playing experience different.5. Fast paced clock works the same as the Harvest Moon series, and as your store grows you w.
