This Hot Wheels case was smaller then expected. We have a few hundred hot wheels and matchbox cars. They just need a case to call home. LolWe put 30 of our favorite cars into this case.It is very durable….has been stood on many times by a 3 yr old to reach stuff on the kitchen counter she shouldn’t have…salt, my coffee, papas chocolate bag, the cookie jar I.e. big mess!😳
This is a nice concept, but the inner layer which holds the cars on one side in place while closing it is difficult to clip into place and also to open. You have to apply a decent amount of pressure to push it until it clicks in place and tug a little hard to get it open. Very doable for adults, but my kiddo struggles with it.
Smaller than I thought…. I have so many hot wheel or die fast cars, I’m trying to organize them, as of now they’ve been stored in a plastic container…This is the second hot wheels storage organizer I’ve bought, and this one is so much smaller boo…. and cheaper quality!The quality is ok, it is thin cheap plastic and the latch at the top doesn’t close too well, so it constantly pops open and the cars fall out. Some hot wheels do not fit in the slots so I throw them at the top but it can only fit so many!!!I am not satisfied with this organizer case however the price was very good so I will tolerate it. I think I paid $7 so I shouldn’t complain!I just wish it was more like the other car or train organizers I’ve bought!!!Please see pics to show how they regular hot wheels do not fit well, and causes the case to not close good.
if theirs anything a little boy likes more than his hot wheels and matchbox cars its box to store them in….Mine loves keeping them in on place, it stores 90/% of his cars very well, the scale matchbox cars can be to tall for some of the slender compartments, but they still fit in the edge boxes.build is OK, the hinge is made to come apart before it breaks, and the latch has lasted so far…
I purchased this car carrier as a Christmas gift for my grandson. I gave the car case to him last night along with about 30 cars. He was thrilled with it and played with it and the cars. The case has a handle that pulls out at the top (similar to a suitcase) which my grandson loved. He looked so cute pulling his car case around.
This is great, has different size compartments for different cars. It can hold more than 100 as I only have my sons cars on 1 side right now and he received 65 for Christmas alone that I have in there for now to hide them until he is a little older to play with them. Right now he just pulls it around thinking it is his suit case.
Don’t be disappointed when you open it and think ” this is supposed to hold 30 cars?” It can just stack sideways in the big spots and you’ll see the room. Great storage for a first time starter collection. We bought for our soon to be 2yr old grandbaby with 6 starter cars and he lives carrying around. It’s a great size for little ones.
My 7-year-old is an absolute hot wheels fanatic. He has so many cars and he sometimes has trouble keeping up with them. This was the absolute perfect solution for him to be able to tote all his favorites around wherever we go! It seems very durable and I was beyond pleased with the shipping speed. I was told this would not be here until September and I received it mid-August.
This was a good buy. Simple enough that my 2 year old can use it. It holds lots of different sizes of Hot Wheels cars and the handle/wheels on it are a great touch!! Very easy for my son to tote his cars from track to track around the house.
I can hardly wait to give this to my 4 year old grandson on his birthday with a pack of Hotwheels cars. This little car carrier is not only adorable, but the perfect size for a little guy from 3-6 years old. When my son collected Matchbox and Hotwheel cars years ago, the case was just a little soft plastic box with a snap closure and two racks for cars. This little gem holds the cars, but has a fun design, stands up without wobbling, has a smooth easy to grip handle. Great item!!

This is the second case we bought like this. Our 9 year old has Hot wheels car obsession. This case is great if you don’t want miniature Cars all over the floor. The different sized compartments Are great because not all cars the same size. We have been able to fit over a 100 cars in this case. Make sure the orange divider Has actually been fastened Down with the little black clip. Otherwise when you go to close the case cars go elsewhere.

Bought this for my 6 year old nephew for Christmas. It’s a great size and isn’t too heavy (at least unloaded) for him to carry. When it is loaded there are wheels to make it easy to move around. I only gave it 4 stars for durability because he broke it shortly after receiving it. He’s not a very rough kid, so I’d say it was treated rather gently for a child’s item. Thankfully it was something super easy to pop back on, so nothing too badly damaged. If you or your kids collect hope wheels if recommend this one as it’s actually large enough to hold a ton of them.

I was a little iffy ordering this since there were a lot of negative reviews, but so glad we did. Well made plenty of room for cars. Yes you can fit 100 cars in there we actually got more than that in our case. There are different sized compartments and some spaces require smaller cars, while others you can put large trucks or several cars in a slot. Not a lot of options out there to store large quantities of HotWheels. My son loves this rolling case. I don’t love the way it snaps inside to separate the each side, it is a little hard for my 5 year old to open. The reason for the 4 stars. Overall extremely impressed with this case and got it at a great price.

I purchased this for my 1 1/2 year old nephew. He loves hot wheel cars. He tries to carry so many cars at the same time so we though this would be a great gift for him to carry most of what he has (about 40 cars). This case is very sturdy and holds up very well while being thrown around and jumped on. I am impressed with this storage case and its durability.

This Hot Wheels case was a hit! I bought this to go with a set of superhero cars my son wanted for his birthday. My little guy loves it. I love that he can store the cars in one container and easily tote them around. I also really like not stepping on toy cars left on the floor. My son thinks this is “cool†and enjoys organizing his cars. It has 30 slots for cars. He often uses it to bring other toys too. It’s great for the ever popular mini-figures and keeps them from getting misplaced. It’s a great buy and fun gift.

Purchased this for my nephew along with some cars and a mat/rug with roads, bridges, garage, etc. My younger brother had a carrying case similar to this as a kid, so it was somewhat of a nostalgic purchase as well. This one is smaller and holds more cars than the ‘original model’!! Nice, neat storage and transportation for the kiddo.

I’m seeing a lot of mixed reviews, but my son loves his car case. I love not stepping on his cars all over the floor. To be clear, the case will not protect cars from damage, especially if you put multiple cars in the larger spaces.This case is great for taking actual play cars around and keeping them in one tidy location.

I wanted to buy my son a case that he could carry around himself at 2 years (he’s at that age where he wants to start doing things himself), and this description seemed to fit the bill. I hesitated with the mixed reviews but overall I’m glad I purchased it. It’s the perfect size for him to carry his cars around in, and even when loaded up isn’t too heavy or awkward for him.More often than not, the lid isn’t attached (it comes apart a little too easily) and my little one can’t put it back together yet. But he will leave it together if he knows we’re taking it someplace.There is no storage in the lid, its just made to look like a wheel on the outside for show. The only functionality is in the bottom half. The storage compartments really do hold 30 cars (see my picture).My biggest compliant is that for whatever reason, the storage slots are wider than necessary so there is a lot of wasted space and the cars can rattle around. Other reviewers have said that it is smaller than expected, but my thought is that it just doesn’t have effective use of space. (See all of the extra space in the outer edges of the case in my picture). The spots are too wide for 1 car and not big enough for 2.Another thing I noticed is that we seem to have a lot of vehicles that are taller than standard cars, and there are only so many slots that the taller ones will fit into. The corner and middle slots are the largest. The middle slots can actually fit a few cars in each (kind of just a spot to dump in.

We got this to satisfy my son’s obsession with out rolling luggage, and to start the effort of keeping his cars gathered together, as he is a beginning collector. The design of this has lots of flaws, but until there is a competitive product, there is no preassure on the company to alter the design.If anyone at Hot Wheels stumbles onto this review, I am about to give you gold. Actually, I hope you already know. Lets run down the issues:- The compartments cannont change in size: In a classic tacklebox you have those little sliding divider things. I appreciate that they avoided creating more small pieces, and I can see that there response was to just have a variety of compartment sizes, but it seems like it could still transform more to better accomodate track pieces or monster trucks. It can hold a avery small amount of either.- The divider: They designed it in such a way that there is a right and wrong direction to open it. Why did they not put a divider on both sides? That way half your case is not at risk of dumping out into the floor. Also, my son is three and I think the little piece of plastic that holds the divider in place should not be confusing him like this. Could they not have a system that just snaps in/out somehow?- It does not connect to track: While you can clearly use any sort of obstacle to design a stunt track, it seems like a big missedopportunity to have no place on this case where a track can connect. In fact, the extending handle mimicks a piece of track.

It seems difficult to find something to hold all the hot wheels my grandson is collecting. I was very happy that this will hold so many and happier still that some of the slots are bigger for those larger cars he has (like his Disney Cars like Mater and Mac). He is 3 and getting the orange divider to open is a little tricky but a life saver for not opening and having all his cars dump out everywhere. He literally races around with it and the little wheels handle it pretty well. It has come unhinged many times, I’m thankful that it snaps back together but wish it was a bit sturdier. I’m happy with it and we now have it laying open in a drawer so his cars are all organized and easy to see and get to.
