Pyro –
I liked this game, running around as hulk destroying the open world city, then running the story line was, that part was just ok, so am giving this game 4 stars

My son loves this game!!

i wasn’t expecting much from this game due to the failure of iron man the game, but to my surprise the game is great, it really grows on you, however the cut scene’s are a little disappointing, the game feels a lot like spiderman 3 the game, as if they had only switch the characters, but the game is great, it is worth every peeny
xXx –
this game is amazing! the graphics are incredible. the gameplay is almost identicle to ultimate destruction. i would recommend this to any hulk fan. this is the best movie tie-in game ever!!!!
D. Gough –
I was a little worried about the game not being new, but it has worked fine. My grandson was thrilled.

This game has terrible reviews outside of retrolio, and was selling for $5 before the Avengers movie came out. I’m a long time Hulk fan and this game is an absolute joke. Terrible repetitive bore of a game. A complete disservice to Hulk and Marvel. Don’t get sucked into the hype! Wait a month or two until it goes back to being $3.

Okay you have two options if you want to play a Hulk game. This one or Ultimate Destruction (sorry the first Hulk movie game doesn’t count). If you are a serious Hulk fan you will undoubtedly come back to Sega’s The Incredible Hulk for the sheer fact of destroying New York City. Yes it’s sloppy and unfinished in many parts (the freeway with no cars on it) and the frame rate comes to a near standstill, but there is fun to be had. Unlike Ultimate Destruction you can really tear apart buildings and streets like never before. While the graphics have improved the collision detection is extremely touchy. This causes you to damage things you didn’t intend to, which then causes more enemies to come after you. Can you say bull in a china shop? Avoid the Wii version as the city has an extreme fog layer where even less landscape is viewable from high above. Casual gamers may want to pass on this as the game glitches will be unforgiveable. Only Hulk fans need invest the time.

Probably one of the few games based off a movie that doesn’t totally suck. Simply put, if you enjoyed “Ultimate Destruction” you’ll get a kick out of this game for sure. The destruction element is ramped from UD quite a bit and the story I thought was decent. Not the best story ever but not crappy either. If anything it’s like Grand Theft Auto meets Rampage. The game does have its downfalls with certain moves from UD not being in this one but the game tries to make up for that with different moves and abilities replacing them. One particular thing that I noticed is that the game has a tendency to freeze up a lot whether you’re running it off the hard drive or on CD. Not sure what causes this (maybe something in the game engine), but may become an annoyance. For 20 bucks off of retrolio here, you’ll have a great time smashing stuff with this fun game.
