My kids love just dance, both girls 5 and 7 will dance away. Most songs are "in" or "classic" they boogie away. I think it is a great way to exercise too.

This review is a comparison of the two franchises: Just Dance and Dance Central. If you’ve played Guitar Hero and Rock Band, there are parallels. Guitar Hero was fun and cartoony. Rock Band was not as cartoony. Game play was about the same. What really made Rock Band better for me was 2 things: Transfer of content from RB1 to RB2 to RB3; I NEVER have to switch disks. The other thing was a HUGE amount of DLC. So, I buy the game, and all the sequels and get to upgrade it all the time, and I never have to switch disks. THAT builds some serious loyalty!Dance Central is Rock Band. You can transfer content and it has a huge library of DLC. But here’s the rub.The first game I played was Just Dance 4. It is so FUN!!! The avatars are real, but cartoony. The dancing is really fun. The songs are great, but there aren’t a ton. So, I did some research and tried Dance Central 3. The kids didn’t really love it. It was “okay.” The dancing just isn’t as fun. Sure, it might have a HUGE library of songs, but if they aren’t fun… So, I tried Just Dance Greatest Hits. I was expecting a plethora of yummy dance goodness. The avatars are just as cool. Gameplay is ok. But the dances are a little boring. What would have really made the difference would have been the ability to transfer content so I could not have to switch disks. Also, JDGH is a compilation of older games, so it stands to reason that they have made improvements.Anyway, I hope this helps you make a good choice..

Thanks for this product. Just as description stated. Arrived at my home on time and was packaged well. Thank you again. Looking into getting the Just Dance Country as soon as I can.

  7. Kim Lindemann

Songs are not as hard so you can really get into the dancing. Great for teenagers either male of female… Lots of fun

I love the Just Sweat section. The best thing about it is that I always do the 25 minute workout but it never gets boring or old because even if you pick the same type of workout it is always different. The song choice and order is always different which makes it that much more fun because you don’t know what is coming next.In the Just Dance section I love the routines that have two or four characters because then if you are dancing with someone they will be doing a slightly different routine than you are. Also when dancing by yourself you can dance to the same song multiple times but do a different routine each time.My only complaint is that there is no way to pause it. If you need to stop or take a break it just keeps going without you.
