Great card game! Easy to learn for kids and a fun game to play with a big group. I played skipbo when I was younger I came across these on retrolio and decided to order! The only downside is that the instructions are not very well written, but that game itself is simple. I suggest watching a video on YouTube to learn the rules instead.

  2. Jen

We love this game. It is fun to play and easy once you get the hang of it. so easy to take with you. Had to buy another deck so our son could take it to school with him.

  3. Jessica Johnson

This is a fun game for all generations. We play it with our kids and our parents. Only our 17 year old complains because it is too “luck based” since he likes games with more strategy. But we still have great times and laughs when we can all come together and play this game.

  4. The Godfather

Started playing this with my family (daughters and grandkids) and it’s a fun game. Along the lines of Uno (also a fun game). Object is to get rid of cards in your stack by creating an opportunity to play the top card without giving your opponents the opportunity to play theirs. Calls for alert playing, anticipating, and planning.

  5. KT

My husband and I are senior citizens. I wish I could buy by the 6 pack as we go through these over time. We play every other day and it’s so much fun. Of course, there i some random luck involved, but there is strategy in how you manage your piles and judging when to play and when to hold back. I love that two people can play (not true with many games) and we travel with this and play in doctor’s offices and in airports.

  6. Bruce Wayne

I’ve been playing Skip-Bo for about 20 years. The game is really simple to teach and I play with my clients at work since they can learn quickly without a lot of skill. There are some strategies in this game that include anticipating a peer’s move or using simple probability to enhance a player’s own chances of having a more favourable play in one or two turns. That can make the game easier for an adult or practiced player than a newer or very young player. That being said, it’s only a small part. Even with my 20 years of playing, I lose to the teens I taught to play a month ago. I think it’s fun for about ages 7 and up and my entire family (aunts, uncles, cousins, Mom, Grandpa) played it for years at gatherings. It is not a more involved game so it’s easy to multitask/talk while playing

I love this card game. Finding this game on retrolio was a nostalgic find for me because our family used to play this on Friday nights when I was younger and I wanted to continue that tradition with my own children. The cards look a little different than the original cards but they are still great, brightly colored and the game is fun. My children ask to play over and over and it is often a favorite on our game nights. I strongly recommend this game for families off all ages. Our 7 year old is able to play with just a little bit of assistance right alongside my 85 year old grandparents. A game that withstands generations!

Easy to understand instructions. ..with 3 decks of sealed cards. Can play up to 6 players.Good quality cards too. Nice gift or travel game.

I was amazed on how much we like to play this game with my wife every week now, is a really entertaining game!Is a nice 2 people game, but of course more entertaining to play with the whole family (3+ persons). It takes some time to understand how to play it just by reading the instructions (watching YouTube videos help a lot) but once your understand it, it turns really easy and kind of addictive.Totally recomended!

We have a women’s card playing club and can wear out a set of Skip Bo cards because we play so much and so long. These will replace ones I bought about a year ago. Don’t like the colors as well as the original colors, but am sure we’ll wear out these cards and I’ll be back in another year for more.
