This is a very entertaining game.It can get tough at times also. Its great and fun to play. It also can fustrate you cause of all the traffic on the street sometimes , you get run over alot…Lol, but hey it makes the game exciting to play alot of thrills. I highly recommend this game for everyone.

Contrary to other reviewer’s comment, I find the game pretty awesome (most probably because of the Hong Kong street scenes that feel 200% home). It takes a bit of a learning curve to master the moves, but they are never non-responsive. There is also a lot of replaying value as the “routes” can be very different every time, if you choose to do it the non-conventional way.Consider it like a more grown up version of locoroco, that’s what this game is about. Not for the serious serious gamer, but completely lovely if you want to get wacky surprises on the rolling lane – very true-to-life depiction of Hong Kong too.

After experiencing the indictment of IGN’s bias toward all things MOVE, I decided to throw my hat in the ring as well and say that IGN has it all wrong. Kung Fu Rider has responsive controls, great graphics, and is a whole lot of fun if a little short. The Move controls may take a few minutes to get used to especially if you play a lot of games with the Dual Shock 3. But after a few tries, you really get into it because it is ridiculous fun. It’s kind of short, so I’d knock 10 bucks of the price before saying it’s worth it.

It has been floating around that this is one of the worst games ever for the PS3. Making it easily the worst Move game ever. But in reality it is a pretty awesome game. First off this game IS gimmicky by all means could of been done on the normal controller even most of the “move” movements. But thats the point of the move right? Just a different way to play. This game is truly just zanny and fun. It like an old arcade game in spirit mixed with Crazy Taxi or Jet Set Radio. No story line (but who needs one) just racing down hill away from the mob… on anything and everything with wheels. The game may just be to hard to be casual and to casual to please those who are considered the “hardcore” gamer. People seem to be all relating that back to the controls themselves. You can go to the options menu and adjust when your character jumps and boosts. After I did that I had no problems it just all became about vigilance and reflexes. So who should buy this game? Anyone who loves the classic going for a high score game and likes a good challenge. Also who can find it for like 25 bucks or lower because this SHOULD of been a PSN title. The Trophy support and all the content point to that. 40 dollars is honestly to much. It seems they even gave you all the launch Move demos on disc with it to try and ease the pain of the price tag. I think this was just another game to BULK up the releases on the day Move launched. Just like Eye Pet where the normal game was just going to use a pad the.

The current 3 stars and above reviews are correct. The rest are just knocking the game for their own reasons, whatever they are. I’m giving this game 5 stars to offset the negative non verified retrolio purchasers. In reality, I give this game 3.5 stars. 4 stars if the game has a more resonable MSRP price, like $25 or less. I bought this game for $15 last week and it’s worth it for what it is… a non serious fun arcade game.
