The Empire strikes back in this sequel to the endearing Star Wars game made all of LEGOs. LEGO Star Wars II follows the Rebel Alliance’s battle to dismantle the Galactic Empire and rebuild a galaxy in pieces. From Darth Vader’s pursuit of Princess Leia aboard her blockade runner to a showdown on the reconstructed Death Star the game includes even more of the family-friendly LEGO action. For the first time ever, characters can get in and out of vehicles, as well as ride creatures. Because it’s LEGO style, you can also mix and match the body parts of more than 50 playable characters to create one of millions of possible LEGO Star Wars heroes.

When I first heard of Lego Star Wars I wasn’t very impressed. But a friend of mine loaned me the game and being a SW addict I decided to try it out. I was pleasantly surprised to find not only did I like it, I LOVED it! I enjoyed the fact that you can build crucial pieces to help you. I really liked the Imperial walkers *evil chuckle*. I liked going though the levels – though I got stuck plenty and had to use a walk thought…this one was the best one ever! They give you screen caps and such to help you out. But I found the game so fun that it is soon to be mine!

Lego Star Wars II is a pretty good Star Wars game. Here’s a list of pros and cons:Pros1. The graphics are cartoonish and remind me of playing with legos when I was little2. The story is fun3. The cut scenes are funny to watch4. The character creator is fun to customize your own character5. Huge character inventory when Lego Star Wars I characters are unlockedCons1. Not much fun afterwards when you complete the game

Great game that my 4.5 year old daughter and I enjoy together. The best part is we can play simultaneously. It does take an adult to figure out some of the "puzzles" to finish a level, but most of the fighting/jumping is doable for a kid. Great game.

It’s the first Lego game I’ve played so I didn’t know what to expect. There’s no voices, but if you know the original movies, it doesn’t matter. It’s amusing and fun, and I’m enjoying it so far. Looking forward to playing more and trying to get all the secrets.

    Very fun to play.

it was for my son , when i ordered it i thought greatest hits was different from starwars 2 , but when he opened it he said he already had it , when i inspected it , i saw both cases where identical , except for the greatest hit markings , i was dismayed , i thought i was ordering 1 that he did not have

True to the LEGO game form, this is an entertaining game and just one of the steps in the improvement of the LEGO games. This is definitely a huge step up from the first LEGO Star Wars game with more extras, more laughs, and in general, more stuff to do. It is a great game for co-op, though, admittedly, co-op can cause some friction sometimes if the partners don’t communicate since this game is before the era of the screen splitting when characters go in opposite directions. There are six levels for each episode, special missions once a certain objective is met, lots of stuff to buy, and lots of studs to collect. All in all, this was a fun game to play and required several hours of gameplay in order to reach full completion. It is also very kid-friendly and a must-have for any gamer who is a Star Wars fan (like my fiancee).
