My 10-year-old son bought this game in August with his own money, so we know he really wanted it. He doesn’t regret it! He and my 9-year-old daughter play this game every week; it’s now their 2nd-favorite Wii game (behind Mario Kart). Overall, it’s appropriate for kids their age (late elementary school) and they haven’t tired of it yet, although I think the game is a bit simplistic. My kids like the challenges in each level, and the ability to change into a different character on the fly. The violence is certainly tame compared with other popular games, which I appreciate. The movie soundtrack is a bonus, too — if you’ve got to listen to video game music, John Williams is not a bad option.

This is a great family fun game that will entertain all ages for hours, days…my four year old picked it up quickly and we take turns at the hard parts :) lots of options for further play.

The title for this review was my best Yoda impression I could muster lol.It is pretty difficult for a 7 year old to play this game. I have had to help him on most of the levels (which has been a lot of fun for me :) I would not recommend this game for children under 12 for solo play. Most will need some parental or older brother/sister help.LEGO and Star Wars how could you go wrong with this combination. This is great game and it is a lot of fun for adults and kids. The Star Wars saga is played out (with an injection of satirical humor) almost to a tee of the original films. The game play is dynamic and hugely different in one player and two player each offering unique game-play. In one player you have the added challenge of facing the majority of enemies on your own. But in two player the challenge continues as it not only tasks your ability to face the enemies, but also working together to solve puzzles and challenges. As you play you unlock different characters that can change the way the game can be played again and again.I am an adult and have found myself feeling like a kid again playing this game. Its a blast! I would recommend it to anyone who likes Star Wars (or just a good laugh). Great Game.(Also keep a watch out for Indiana Jones in this game…Playing the Star Wars sagas while cracking a whip is quite a hoot)

Best of the best! You get the whole saga in the one game and extra games as well. I can’t wait till we unlock them all.

A gift for my grandson…he loved it.

My children and I play this game for hours each day. They are 6 and 5 years old and I am old. The violence remarks/reviews are not justified. They are legos! Lego’s break and you put them back together. This game is the best game I could buy for wii that my kids and I don’t ever get bored of and it helps them problem solve.

My kids love this game, as any other Lego games. Great for children. Very mild violence and replay scenes of the movie but in funny version

The game itself works and my son who got it as a early Easter gift from money from his Gram. It seems like a fun game. However, the case it bent up and dipped in one spot and the bottom part does not clip to close. Buying used I know things won’t be perfect but the case could have been replaced or at least tried to be fixed.

My kid is 5 years old and didn’t know much about star wars. The game is fun, has lots of things to do and has small videos made with lego pieces about actual movie scenes, it’s unbelievable to see that everything could be done with lego blocks. Not only is fun to play, it encourages kids to play with real legos and helps them to have like scripts to develop their own stories…very good.

The game does a great job mirroring the movie in both the character lego pieces and the backgrounds. Fun for all ages and genders, seeing as I bought this for my daughters and they play it as much as dad does.
