She is 11 and wants to work in the medical field. We purchased the game for fun with the family but she didn’t seem challenged by most of the questions. We enjoyed having to act out certian scenario’s. So as far as for education…not for an 11 year old. Just for laughs…good for a 30-45 minutes worth.
I purchased this game as a silly gift for my young adult son who is starting medical school, and it was a big hit. He has played the game several times already with a number of friends, and, despite the fact that this is clearly a game targeted at a much younger audience, they found the juvenile nature of the information to be very entertaining. The only suggestion…perhaps an extension deck to keep the game fresh.

My family and I enjoyed playing this game very much. It’s fun, and you’ll learn cool stuff. The trivia questions offer answer choices which are great for younger kids, or you can skip the answer choices for older kids and adults. Game is good quality, we will enjoy this for years.

My whole family loves this game. There aren’t many games that we a enjoy playing, but Scabs ‘N Guts is so much fun and we are learning so much. Seriously, this game never gets boring even for the adults because we are learning too. This is a must have game for any kids who loves science!
