Little Nemo: The Dream MasterI like how the game begins with dialogue. It’s about Nemo needing to visit a princess, but Nemo being a little boy doesn’t want to because he doesn’t like girls yet! He can’t look beyond the fact she’s a girl so he’s against the idea, haha. Girls are weird according to a small boys point of view! Don’t worry Nemo she won’t bite! Go to her!The first level is called the Mushroom Forest. Giving monsters candy awards you a free ride. Yup, you can ride on top of animals by feeding them. Nice to know! You then see purple porcupines, flying skeletal monkeys and frogs as you collect keys on giant mushrooms. You’re now digging around and before you know it, riding on a blue dragon and climbing up walls with said dragon. You’ll see bats in a cave just before the waterfall too. Nice first stage.Level 2 is called Dream Garden. I like how the levels are called dreams instead of levels. I also like the purple background. Right from the beginning you’re encouaged to swim underwater to meet a friend. When you find this person (which is right away) he wants you to search for a lizard in a tree. You’re now on land dealing with upright-slithering snakes, flying skeletal monkeys and apes you can ride up tree branches (and deliver an adorable punch move!) Climb the tree and watch out for chomping skeleton heads floating down from white dandelion balls. Watch out for skeleton spiders, spikes and other things while riding the blue dragon too.As you ge.

If you like Adventure, and fun levels that keep you searching for objects crucial to solving them…..Little Nemo Dream Master is an old school, great, fun filled childhood game that keeps you wanting to play more until you win. Very addicting to play to say the least. Fair warning though….Being it’s an old NES Traditional Nintendo Game, you cannot save the game, turn off the system and come back to same level later. It will allow you to continue levels even after losing all lives, but once you turn off everything, you’ll be starting all over again.

This one was just a fun, innovative platformer coming out toward the end of the NES’s lifespan. Not every creature you meet is a foe; some can be persuaded to help you, granting you the additional abilities you’ll need to beat the levels. You must learn the abilities of your various animal friends, as most levels are impossible to conquer playing solely as Nemo. The graphics are decent for nearly 20 years past, but most importantly they are bright, fun, and convery the dreamlike mood of the game. The music falls in the same boat. It’s dated, but still fun and completely appropriate. My sole complaint is that the challenge is somewhat uneven. The bulk of the game is fairly easy, sometimes tricky until you know what to do, but entirely manageable. However, there are some areas toward the end of the game that have a substantial difficulty hike. The City in the Clouds, for example, is a good deal harder than the rest of the game, and it’s toward the middle. However, I am ESPECIALLY referring to the flame-jet portion of the Nightmare World. That one screen is easily ten times as difficult as anything else in the game, including the substantial chunk of terrain that follows it. I lose more lives in this part than the rest of the game combined. A lot more. All in all, though, a great and somewhat-overlooked classic for a classic system. Any collector should have this in her library.

Tossing candy and working with the local fauna is a lot of fun. There is some difficulty here, which is good, fighting monsters in you pajamas should be hard. This is the best Nemo there is and the only Nemo as far as I’m concerned.

I had this game as a kid & lost it, so I was replacing it & reliving this great experience. Little Nemo is an awesome game, albeit pretty difficult. The movie for this was also very good. The game has a great feel to it, one of the better games for NES. Every bit as fun a game as I remembered.

Great game! A challenging and creative game! It brings back imagination of childhood with the fun graphics. Such as jumping across the caps of giant mushrooms! Thanks again!
