There is a reason this received the game of the year. It is fun, fast-paced and great for a large age range. Grandchildren from 5 years through the early teen years love this game. Keeps them entertained. Would buy another version.
I love playing games but what I enjoy most about gaming is having people you enjoy playing games with. I’ve been looking for a good Playstation 3 multi-player game and this is definitely the best one out there right now in my opinion. My wife is not an avid gamer but as a young teenager her and her sisters did play Donkey Kong on the Super Nintendo and she loved it. So when I saw screen shots of this game the side-scrolling action looked like something that would be familiar to her and simple enough to play and that was enough for me to buy the game.The entire concept of the game is quite unlike anything I’ve played. The whole idea of creating costumes, placing stickers, custom levels, makes this game appear more to the female segment than it otherwise might. But at the same time, the endless levels, side-scrolling action, puzzles, and difficult game play will not disappoint a hard-core gamer. The most amazing thing I’ve found about this game is how much of a party game it is in our family.We will get a four-player game going when our family gets together after Sunday dinner and everyone spends about the first 5 minutes customizing their character and then we all start playing a level together. Because there are so many save points throughout levels, even beginners who die quite frequently still stay engaged as their sack person comes back to life at each save point. The blend of creativity, great multi-player functionality, and the ability of this game to hold the attention.

This is a really wonderful game, and the online content and ability to create your own levels makes the opportunities for game play pretty much endless!
My 6 and 10 year old daughters love to play his game together. Takes a little bit to get the hang of it, but they have gotten pretty good at it. They have lots of fun, although they can get frustrated with each other like kids usually do. Overall, they really like to play this game. And they aren’t even kids that love video games.

If you’re looking for a relaxing game to play and chill out after work, this is it. If you’re a more skilled gamer looking for something faster paced and more interesting, this can be it also. I am in awe of how many different games you can get out of just this one; the creativity is amazing. So much fun. I’m a big fan.
It reminds me so much of the thrill that I got as a kid from Mario Bros., but with this game everything that you wished you could do with Mario Bros. you can do with LBP.

I bought this for my 9 year old son. He has been enjoying it. There are lots of ways to personalize your little "sack guy" and he really likes that feature. The worlds (you explore) are also all very different and many are quite clever and creative. Some of the worlds have fun themes. I love that it is a non-violent game. It is based more on dreams and creativity. I would recommend this game. My son would as well. :)

LittleBigPlanet Game of the Year Edition is an entertaining and absorbing game. It allows a great level of customization of both character and eventually world. The game has an entertaining and decent length main story. Should that get finished, it also has a gargantuan online community. The variety there is nearly limitless, enabling player interaction and showcasing “published” works by other players. If you are interested in a game full of variety, good (not frustrating) puzzles, and great online support, this is your game.

Well, I origanally bought this game for my little brother for his birthday. He has been asking for this game for a while now. When it came in the Mail he was so excited that he played it the same day. He and his friends beat the game in about a week because they played it so frequently. Overall, I think the levels went by really quickly but I like that you can costumize your ‘sackboy’ as you please. My little brother is obsessed with it and so I am happy.

Amazing. I play it sometimes with my 9 year old sister, and we have tons of laughs. Only thing I don’t like is the camera position when more than one person is playing the game on the same console. I have a tiny t.v. so it’s hard to see where I’m at when it zooms out. Other than that, great game, I recommend it for families.

Its a very funny game! Characters looks pretty weird though.. gives me a nightmare for some reason. But other than that, game play is really good and challenging!

This game is insane. Anything is possible, and everything is tried. The game allows for tons of freedom for creativity, a imagination stimulating, game that makes you think, while being addicting, endearing, and wonderful in every possible way. Little Big Planet is by no small measure a masterpiece.This game is an absolute MUST for everyone with a ps3! the multiplayer is basically functional in every capacity possible, the online is wonderful and fully integrated, you can even get help from your in game friends! No gorey violence, nothing that is inapropriate for kids, and the game is by no means made for kids! Everyone in my household is utterly addicted to this game, we just cant get enough of Sack boy and sack girl!

I got a niece and two nephews age 9,11,and 12, we can play for hrs at times, the graphics are so vivid, its fun & clever, specially if u have internet, connects and suddenly you have unlimited games,even if its one person, u can make new friends and play with them when ur home alone, the imagination is limitless in this game, i wish there was a way to design more games like this.. that stretch the imagination that are no ending fun. defiantly buying little big planet 2, as soon as it lowers in price :D!
