As far as the product goes (disk, case, etc.), everything was good. It arrived on time and in good condition. The game works as expected. The game itself is a completely different story, but I don’t have anything to say that hasn’t already been said.

    Received as described. Good buy!

The Story line in Shadow the Hedgehog is: who is Shadow? Is he good, evil, misunderstood, indifferent? Does he want to help human beings, or does he want to kill them all? It is the player’s job to decide. And the great thing is, you can change your mind right in the middle of game play.

Even with recent advancements in video game technology, very few games offer a mix of everything gaming has to offer. First person shooters, and racing games come by the dozen, as do games about soldiers, crooks, or mystical anime-like worlds. Shadow the Hedgehog, the newest addition to the classic Sonic series, combines the best aspects of these popular gaming concepts, enhancing the over-all Sonic experience.Simply, Shadow is an inverted version of Sonic the Hedgehog. Those unfamiliar with Sonic Adventure 2, might assume this to be cheap characterization on the Sonic Team’s part, but it is actually just the opposite. Visually, yes, Sonic and Shadow are extremely alike. Shadow’s colors are just flipped from Sonic’s and his look is more menacing. The actual background of Shadow’s character however, is more complex then any other character’s in the series. In fact, Shadow’s past and personality are the bases of the game. This is a huge step up for the Sonic Team. Sonic Adventure 2, which also centers Shadow’s motives, is the only other Sonic game that has ever truly regarded any kind of thought out story line. Sonic Heroes, Sonic Adventure, and pretty much all of the Sega Genesis Sonic games, gave you a very clear mission; Defeat the Evil Doctor Robotnik using some Chaos Emeralds, and thus, save the world. The Story line in Shadow the Hedgehog is: who is Shadow? Is he good, evil, misunderstood, indifferent? Does he want to help human beings, or does he want to kill.

This game is so entertaining! I can play this game night and day and never get tired of it! It shipped quickly, it was cheap, and it was not damaged at all really. If you do not own this game I highly recommend that you get it now!

  6. David Smith

    Great game

  7. Whatisup2

This game is really fun. I like the way you can choose your own path and become evil or good. The stages are fun, the only thing I don’t really care for is the cut scenes. Way too long, and every time I died I had to watch them again -_-. All in all, I give this game a 95/100. I didn’t finish it yet, but so far that’s a rating I give. And I NEVER give 90% ratings, so you better believe this is good.

    good

I never play this game from the Sonic The Hedgehog franchise, but I now played this, & I loved it.

At first I was extremely skeptical about this game when I heard the reviews for it. But after it being around for such a long time it’s really gotten a lot of praise and is now considered the cult classic of the incredible Sonic The Hedgehog franchise; and really, it’s not hard to see why Shadow The Hedgehog is getting the recognition it finally deserves. As you may have guessed by now, in this game you play as Shadow, Sonic’s biggest rival or most powerful ally, depending on the circumstance.Shadow has completely lost his memory save for his ‘friends’ from the previous installment, an image of him running down a hallway, and a name- MARIA. Timing could not be worse as the Earth is at that moment invaded by unfriendly extraterrestrials hell-bent on global destruction. And now the world is plunged into a three-way war between the good G.U.N. military allied with the Sonic Heroes freedom fighters tasked with protecting the planet, the always-causing-trouble Eggman Empire who dislikes competition, and the evil Black Arms alien race who have a special connection with Shadow’s past. And now Shadow must leap into action to find the truth as to who he really is and what he was meant for; he just needs one thing: YOU.It’s up to you to help Shadow choose the side he will fight for. Will he aid his friends from Sonic Heroes for the glory of what’s right? Or will he turn against humanity to wreak vengeance on the earth alongside his Black Arms brethren? Or maybe he’ll take his own path.
