Luigi steps out from the shadow of his brother Mario and into the gloomy shadows of a very haunted house in this, his first-ever starring role. As it turns out, Mario is also trapped within the mansion, so along with the help of Professor E. Gadd, Luigi must defeat all 23 of the house’s inhabitants to save Mario and take back the mansion. As Luigi, you’ll search for the keys that open the many locked doors; vacuum coins, cash, and gold bars; and explore vases, bookcases, and drawers. From the brick-walled basement to the gloomy grounds, Luigi’s Mansion is packed with chills, thrills, and creepy surprises.

Bought for my mom after seeing it played, and shes thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep in mind tho the two player mode is an additional purchase so if you want luigi and googi keep that in mind! Otherwise a fun game to break a bunch of stuff and collect gold while fighting ghosties.

It came in the box, played well, and seemed brand new. My boyfriend enjoys the game a lot.

I do not usually write reviews for games since you can find reviews everywhere on youtube or ign or other places. I just want to say how much I love this game. The game is well polished and visually satisfying. The music is fantastic too. The atmosphere is well built. In terms of gameplay, it’s easy to learn but hard to master, classic Nintendo style. However, it does get quite boring towards the end.

Arrived quickly. Was in great condition. The kids love playing this scary adventure. If you have a switch its a must have.

This has been my absolute favorite Switch game to date. I loved the original and the 3DS and this was just great. Disappointed that it seemed super super easy and felt a bit more childish (geared towards children), but I still loved it.

I think this Luigi’s Mansion is more of a Mario game than a Luigi’s Mansion game. Maybe I’m older now and I don’t feel the same as I did as a kid playing the original Luigi’s Mansion but the atmosphere of the game feels more light-hearted and fun than suspenseful and scary. The level design is great and a lot of the levels look amazing, but it misses that suspenseful “what’s behind this door?” aspect that the original games had.Overall gameplay: OkayMechanics: It’s a little hard to control the direction of your poltergust with the analog stick, apparently you can turn that off in the settings but the fact that it’s enabled by default is a little annoying. Otherwise great, there aren’t really any confusing mechanicsBosses: This is where I think the game shines, just like other nintendo games the bosses are creative and have really cool battlesStory: Much like a lot of Mario games the story is kind of just the “This person was captured and you need to go save them”

This game was asked for, so I cannot take any credit. It’s a 9 months later now, and the 8 year old still plays with it daily.

So this game is great, the story is funny, the environments are creative, and the boss battles are fantastic. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is the controls… I would really like to invert the Y-axis also some of the controls are just hard to use. Adding so many options makes it hard to sometimes aim and shoot at the same time. The other odd part is the game teaches you with the A or Y button but it is easier to use the bumpers with the same effect.I wish they would patch the game with more customizable controls but it is playable. The other fun feature is the co-op mode. It has been a blast playing through the game with my son.
