The far better menu layout along with the smoother, more fluid game play definitely makes this a Madden game well worth picking up. I like the improved connected career mode, Which is a massive step up from last year’s game. Madden 25 is not without it’s flaws though. Madden Ultimate Team is far too difficult and unless you put real money into it, You’ll have a painfully difficult/impossible time getting through it. I wish they had toned down the difficult of the challenges but then again, That’s how they get you to pay extra so looks like that won’t change any time soon.Still, It’s a pretty solid game overall and I’d definitely recommend picking it up.
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. I thought he would love it but it turns out he doesn’t care for the Madden games. It was on sale and I had a coupon for it as well. It showed up on time but I had to return it for a new game that he did like.
The draft import is not as user friendly on this version. Everything else works fine, I do wish the graphics were more like NCAA 2014 College Football.
I bought Madden 25 for my boyfriend. The version he had before was a few years old and so I decided to get him the 25th addition. He really likes it and says the quality of the game is much better than the earlier version. I was happy with the overall purchase!

I brought this for my son who does not know how to play football. He has learned more about football by playing this game than I could explain from the NFL. He did not like watching football before he played this game. One problem is the software sometimes does not perform correctly and there are interceptions and plays that are not fair to one of the teams. By far, more fun to play than the past footballs games of my generation "the 50 year old group" because it does more than my generation games did for us.
Gave this to my grandson for Christmas. Haven’t heard any complaints. He is also getting the Madden 15 from his parents. I read a review that it was better to try the 25 first and then go to the 15.

The one thing you should know about this version is that EA has some options blocked unless you pay for their subscription, not included in the purchase. Pretty rude and obnoxious considering that usually people buying these have been buying for years. To drag them into buying even more or they block it is uncalled for.Controls and options are different so take the tutorial if you are struggling. Good graphics, I had to do a lot of player updates as I like to keep it real and in sync with the league.

I stopped playing Madden until this version came out. My kids and I thoroughly enjoy the games, the graphics are great, and the 5 minute quarters means we can all get a chance to play.

Hasn’t really changed enough over recent years to warrant constantly purchasing the newest version whenever it first comes out, but still a good game diminishing fun factor noted since it’s becomes harder as the years elapse to introduce anything truly innovative to what is becoming a vintage platform.

People kill Madden and EA in these reviews every single year. It’s been a long time since they’ve put out a version I couldn’t put down to be sure, but this is the best iteration in at least the last 6 years.I play Madden for franchise mode. Specifically owner mode in franchise. I’m glad they brought back owner mode, it is however lacking in a handful of ways when it comes to actually being an owner. You can only hire a head coach, trainer, and scout. Unlike ancestors to this game where you could actually hire coordinators, such is not the case with this game sadly. You can make upgrades and renovations to your stadium, they are however very generic, not creative, and deteriorate quickly even in the newer stadiums. Gone are the days of adding a new diamond vision, putting in custom irriagation or adding restaurants, internet access, or other fan comforts. There is an option on the dashboard for making comments to the media, but there is no way to actually do so. I think it’s probably for another mode. The scouting is somewhat improved, though I miss the days of being able to put prospective recruits through drills at a combine. Also, it would be cool if I could create a player that could be added to franchise owner mode.Gameplay itself feels better than Madden 13. The running mechanics are a HUGE upgrade, it’s actually fun to call running plays. I find myself feeding the running back nearly 20 carries a game which makes the passing numbers more realistic.
