Gil Colon –
Great book from CD project. Gonna miss the series but nice one if you are unfamiliar with the game lore
Roger Schutter –
This book is hardcover and well constructed. It arrive on time by retrolio Prime and well packaged. The book is written in the person of Dandelion, the actor and Gerald’s headache friend. It is a very interesting historical read. Well written with little touches of sarcasm, and playful wit. The artwork in the book is worth the price of admission on its own. Every page has at least one example of the game artwork. It is worth the cost.
Craig Robertson –
I was not entirely sure if this was more of a behind the scenes with the devs and seeing some of the original drafts of the characters or an in depth look at the world. It is a nice overview of the world of the Witcher as we know it (not drafts) with the politics of each race and county. It also takes a look at certain characters and areas that are only mentioned in game or through the books i.e. the Dryads. Great quality and makes the standard books (Last wish, Blood of Elves, Last Wish, etc.) that much better when you are able to visualize the characters and settings. Love it!
LEE A TOMASSONI –
What a fun book! I read the books that have been translated in to English and this is a great addition. The descriptions for the various realms and kingdoms build on the bits learned while reading the books. The pictures are from the games; their addition is wonderful.
Paul –
This compendium is full of details and information outlining the Witcher world, it’s history and it’s inhabitants. As others have stated, it would have been nice if it included a map of all the kingdoms and locations. However, as I have read all the books and have the maps that came with the games, it would be somewhat of a mute point – and after all, it isn’t titled the Geography of the Witcher. A nice coffee table book with thick, glossy pages that I am happy to have added to my Witcher collection!
Alyssa C. –
Not exactly what I thoughy it was, but a nice book none the less and great for a Witcher fan.
EarnestineBlick –
Amazing book, includes a huge amount of lore for the Witcher series and is told from Dandelion’s perspective which was very cool in my opinion. Must have if you are a big fan of the games or books. Also includes lots of fantastic artwork that is unique to this book.
Wuthering –
Quite a nice collection of the Witcher world setting knowledge, and of course, artworks. Most of information provided in this can be found in the novels here and there, so if you are a fans of books, it doesn’t hold much surprise for you. If you only play the game(s) and are genuinely interested in TW world however, this certainly serves as an entertaining reading.
Julian Scott –
Where to start… This is a huge book. Not in the sense of size, but in the sense of what is contained within it. If you have read the Witcher novels and love the games, this will be a great addition to your collection. The book just adds so much more to the Witcher Universe, that it explodes your mind. Definitely a recommend for die-hard fans of the series.
Theindexcard –
After The Witcher 3 I have grown to love all things related to the Witcher. This is a nice little historia, as narrated by Dandelion, to give you more information without necessarily reading the books.
