Medal of honor is unique in the Modern Gaming industry because it focus’s on a real combat mission; to find and kill Osama bin Laden (we got him :D ) in the Shaikot Mountains through Operation Anaconda. For the most part, the Game stays along the facts in the characters’ quest to exterminate terrorist. Any history buff would immediately point out factual screw ups with the AC-130 (it was actually a GPS error, not a rogue general), the portrayal that Rangers werent supposed to go in yet (they were), and the reference to the two Navy SEALS that were left on top of Takur Ghar (they both ended up dead, one by RPG, the other by execution behind a rock). Still though, much better than Call of Duty: Black ops in all respects. I haven’t tried the multiplayer yet, however I am really excited about it if it’s anything like the singleplayer campaign.

I had never played a game created by the Battlefield developers before, so I was unsure of what to expect going into this.Overall, gameplay is good, the story is good, and the graphics/sound are WONDERFUL. I did enjoy the environment quite a bit, it was a nice change from most shooters where you just go from town to town to clear everyone out. I was impressed by that aspect. The downside is that this is clearly aimed at the COD Modern Warfare games. The gameplay and linear story are almost identical. BUT, this is what sells, and the COD franchise has had great luck with it, so why not do the same?Overall, I enjoyed this game, and it is well worth the $$.

Being a firearms enthusiast and NRA distinguished expert marksman i can tell you this is hands down the most realistic shooter ever made. you have select fire, the sound effects are great, the AI does its best to kill you, the people react very realistically to being shot. ive seen guys go down in 1 or 2 hits, and then had one guy who took 8. my friends who are combat veterans have told me similar stories. the cover lean feature is awesome as is the power slide ability. i love hardcore mode, and the stories are pretty much all based on real events. They just mash a few dozen historical characters together into a fictional cast. this is a very moving game and a real tribute to the men who do so much to protect our nation and destroy our enemies. i almost cried at a couple points.

I am a little surprised to see all the negative reviews surrounding the Medal of Honor relaunch title. I am having a blast playing it. Overall, MOH stands up well next to the current reigning champs of the first-person shooter genre (Battlefield: Bad Company 2 & Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2).Single player campaign is great fun. The graphics are intense. Many fire-fights in urban environments which seems to intensify the experience: enemies can come from a number of directions and will shoot from neighboring buildings. Tactics including cover and stealth are needed to deal with foes. The story is in many ways better than the Call of Duty one because it IS grounded in the bloody reality of our current war in Afghanistan. I am not a “expert” gamer by any stretch of the imagination, but I found the single player campaign both fun and challenging on “Normal.”Multiplayer is also a blast. I found lots of people online and never had to wait for a game. There are several modes to play but nothing revolutionary as far as the modes (team, deathmatch, domination, etc). The action is strong and here again I enjoyed it more than the Call of Duty online play. In Call of Duty, I tend to just get killed as soon as I step out of the respawn area. The maps in Medal of Honor are huge and detailed, so you have room to manuever towards objectives. There are several classes, but none of them allow simply to run and gun. Taking cover, talking to team mates, and identifying objectives is.

The StoryI liked it, a lot. You play as multiple individuals from a few different teams. If you’ve played any of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare titles, you know what I mean. I tracked the Taliban, blew tons of things up (including an entire village, with an Apache), and sniped enemy combatants from one mountain to another. I got a wide breadth of the different scenarios faced by soldiers in the area. There’s a lot of killing, advancing, and retreating to be done. The goodLet me begin with the audio. Right out of the gate I noticed what might be the best sounding game I’ve heard in a very long time. What I mean to say is that the world sounds amazing. The music was good, fitting for the setting. If I was close to a team member while they were chatting on the radio, I could hear the echo. The guns felt real, I mean real real, not videogame real. Every one of them packed a punch. I could hear rounds ripping through the enemy, bouncing off of rocks, and shell casings hitting the ground. All sorts of things to hear, seriously, top notch. The gameplay is what you would expect. There isn’t anything ground breaking, it get’s the job done.I played through the game with the lights off and my headphones on. I was fully immersed. The world looks fantastic. If I may make a suggestion, play the game with a really good pair of headphones if possible. If you do, don’t forget to change the audio options to headphones, it makes a difference. The badI encountered a few hiccups with the A.I. On t.

Interesting story based on the shapping operations leading up to Anaconda. If were as real as every one wanted you would spend 90% of the time sitting on your ass playing cards, working out in a dusty gym, and eating MREs. I always laugh when the word “real” is used. Hit start and kill some bad guys or go outside and run a marathon with 50 pounds on your back. Remeber its a game my extra large thumbed commandos!

despite the negative reviews, I decided to get this game. I didn’t expect much because of all the reviews, but I have to say, it’s really fun! The single player graphics suck, but after a few levels you get used to that, and it becomes pretty fun (i’m a graphics whore). Multiplayer has great graphics, but it’s kind of hard to spot still people. It’s a little camper infested and it’s annoying that there’s no kill cams. also the spawns can be bad at times. My only other complaint is you can tell Dice put as little time into the game as possible: not great weapon selection, decent maps at best. There’s only about 2,000 players on at a time, but I had no trouble finding full games. The gameplay is fun and fantastic that it basically outweighs the cons, plus the single player is worth a playthrough. It’s a great game for only $20!

Being in the Spec Ops genre, this game was refreshingly more realistic than others I’ve played. MOH did a rather nice job of creating ebbs and flows in and between different missions. In other words, it had a more measured pace and not the usual, near constant, unrealistic, insanely intense gun battles where one looses any sense of mission and is immeresed in total survival and blood lust. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy those immersions of blood lust as well as the next gamer, but not just so constantly. For me, this game has a better rhythm. I thought this game was too short…should have been an hour or so longer.

Despite what many think, Medal of Honor set the stage for the begining of the Call of Duty series. Those who only know COD for the Modern Warfare series will say that Medal of Honor copied Modern Warfare; however, MOH first came out in the 90s whereas COD began in 2003. I will break this game down piece by piece and compare it to Modern Warfare so you can see the difference.First: the title. Why make two totally different games with the same title?Answer: MOH fell off of the map after the first few installments. With their games not selling as well as they had been initially, COD took the stage. MOH needed something new, so they worked hard to produce something truly original. To restore the honor in the series’ name with such an original game, they simply named it Medal of Honor. This isn’t something that is usually done, but since the first MOH was such a hit and the October 2010 release was so unique, the name works. But what makes this game so different from COD4 and MW2?The first things you notice when playing the new MOH are the graphics. The game opens with an intense CG movie that is unbelievably realistic. The gameplay is not too much different. It is hard for me to describe the graphics, but if you spend 30 minutes playing this game, and the switch over to MW2, the difference is that between night and day. The graphics are much smoother and lifelike in MOH, and the graphics alone make it difficult for me to play MW2 now that I own this game. The next thing I noticed w.
