So just maybe 4 years ago I first got this game, and I thought I’d try it out. Everyone was talking about Mega Man so it had to be fun. They were right. I love this game. It really is, as another reviewer here mentioned, the quintessential and (I would soon to find out) THE most overrated Mega Man game out there. I got really into this game, playing it on every difficulty at least 3 or 4 times each, and at my best, I could complete the game in 35 minutes. I never understood why everyone thought it was so hard… Through this game, I really discovered what I like in games, and what my favorite games are. My favorite Robot Master is still Quick Man all this time later. While Mega man 2 is not my favorite entry in the Mega Man series, I would wholeheartedly recommend it to a first time player or someone looking for a new game to try. In fact, I strongly recommend playing this one first. It really did change my outlook on video games. I have to really thank Mega Man 2 for this; it holds a special place in my heart.Yes. Go buy it. Doesn’t matter if its for the NES or not. Just get it and play it. Make sure, though, that however you play it, use a controller and not a keyboard. I would recommend the Mega Man anniversary collection. Its cheap, and its for a console and it has all the Mega man Classic games except 9 and 10. Have fun!

This was a present for a friend and they loved getting it! It is a highly talked about game by lots of people. It’s a fun relaxing game that most anybody can pick up on. It has challenging levels and levels that are easier. It is definitely a good game to have, you won’t regret it!

Mega Man II is perhaps the best of the original series on the NES. It may not have a fantastic plot, but those of us who remember the NES days weren’t too concerned with plot anyway (remember, you were Mario going to rescue the Princess from the clutches of King Koopa). Mega Man II introduced a few things to the series that the first one lacked. The biggest new assest was perhaps the Energy Tank. While you could only carry four, it was nice that for once I didn’t have to go back and forth killing enemies for energy pellets. The gameplay was a step up for this. Mega Man II also has more balanced difficulty. It isn’t just the energy tanks, it’s that you’re more likely to survive in cases where you can’t. There are eight robot masters as opposed to six, and the weapons are a little better. The element of Robot Masters being weak to other Robot Master weapons is still there, and it works out even better here than it did in the first one. It’s a bit more unpredictable. The difficulty may be balanced, but it isn’t by any means the hardest of the Mega Man series (the first one is). It’s actually one of the easier ones in the series. The bulk of the difficulty may come from Quick Man’s stage, and even that can be taken care of quite easily. Taking on the robot masters a second time is also pretty easy when you’ve got all their weapons to use against them, and they always drop an energy pellet that restores probably more damage than they’ll do to you. In other words, the ga.

Do you exist? You do? I also exist, and I love Mega Man 2. So you will love Mega Man 2. Not good enough? What do you mean you want a proper review? FINE. Here we go. This is the second installment in the Mega Man series. The first one was pretty good. But a little to small for my tastes. But still good. This one on the other hand, has no flaws. I’m not kidding. I mean if a really nitpick I can find a few things that make me stew. But it’s minor. SO… here is the easiest review ever.1. The Gameplay. You may have skipped the first Mega Man game due to it’s insane price tag. So here is what this Mega Man series is all about. You control the little blue bomber. Mega Man. Created by Dr. Light to fight the evil Dr. Wily. But first you must go through his robot army. For every boss you kill. You earn their power. You also earn powers from Dr. Light. It gets hard sometimes. But it is nothing like the first. This is much better. The control is so fluent, and the game is fantastic. Almost like having your cake, and eating it too. But this is no ordinary cake. This cake is a cake made by Betty Crocker herself. This cake is the cake that you have dreamed of. This is THE cake. It’s a perfect game.2. The music. This game has the best music of any other NES game. (Mega Man 3’s music is pretty good as well). Of course I cant describe music. Besides the fact that it is up tempo and awesome.3. The password system. This game has a password system. Making it much more easier than the first..

I remember years ago when I was just a kid. My dad took me to the store to purchase a new NES game for my July birthday. (I got the NES for Christmas and had only rented games.) The clerk at the store sold us on Mega Man 2. He said it was really popular and was just released. So with that my video game obsession began.Mega Man is a classic platform, side scroller that does have some sandbox elements to it. It allows you to choose which levels and bosses to go after first. Once you defeat them, you gain their weapons. This is vital, as some bosses and levels are nearly impossible without the right weapon combinations. It does allow you to “save” your progress with a bingo style code system that allows you opt out of defeating levels you already completed. IMO this is the BEST Mega Man title, and it still plays very well. Now my 5 year old son and I play it together.
