From a long time fan, all I have to say, this game is perfection.Thank you so much Capcom for giving us this exquisite gem, very happy about it.

Let me start out by saying that this was my first Mega Man game, and that I am in no way a qualified veteran of the series. Overall, I loved the game, but how the Mega Man series is structured (at least from what I’ve seen) is not perfect.1. Having a stage select is pointless in Mega Man games. The freedom to choose whatever stage you want sounds great on paper. However, there is always a stage that is easier than all the rest (in Mega Man 11, it’s Fuse Man’s stage), and there are some stages that only make sense after you have defeated a few robot masters (in Mega Man 11, it’s Impact Man’s stage). So naturally, if you don’t know that then your first few hours are going to be spent trying to figure out what bosses you can feasibly beat. Once you get your first elemental power from one of the robot masters (again, probably Fuse Man’s electric weapon) then you’d think you were all set. Except….2. The weaknesses don’t make any sense in the Mega Man series. So, you realize pretty quickly once you have your first weapon that its an elemental weapon and that it should be used against something weak to that element (in my case electricity). So, who is weak to electricity? Tundra Man i.e ice. Yeah, sure makes sense. What’s weak to fire? Bombs. You get the idea. Its these strange types that makes it hard to plan a route to take once you actually have your first weapon. In the end, I ended up downloading the list of weaknesses for each robot master (not the strategies on how to beat.

This was my first experience with a Mega Man game aside from playing one of the older games at a friends house back in the day. Mega Man 11 was a thrill to play. I liked how easy it was learning how to use new weaponry. I felt like the game was the perfect length and difficulty. It was such a pleasure playing that I looked forward to coming home from work and progressing through the game!
