Mega Man 8 for the playstation looks like Capcom just went and put something togethor for Mega Man 10th anniversary. I mean the voice actor for Mega Man and DR. Light are horrible. Mega Man sounds like a little 8 year old. Why did I give this 5 stars because I’m a Mega Man fanatic. Plus this is worth a look and probable would think this to be okay if your not a Mega Man fanatic. The story is interesting and more levels are added then previous Mega Man games and that’s is why you should take a look

Anyone who was a fan to the old Nintendo Megaman series will enjoy this game.Just as in the old games, you get to battle eight enemies and in the end, beat them again in Wily tower and defeat the two stages of doctor Wily.Unfortunately, there are some some cons:you don’t get to use rushjet when you want to and the other rush powers are kinda stupid, and the voices on this game are reallly wimpy.Power ups are limited, so you should choose carefully.Pros:Good graphics and challanging levels. You won’t beat this game without continuing a few times. You can get power ups when you get enough bolts to buy one. There are new enemies. Always a plus.New and interesting plot.Memory card, so you don’t have to write down passwords. All in all, it’s a great game. Definately worth buying.

This game is great! All the classic elements that made Megaman shine among games in the 80’s and 90’s return with upgraded graphics, sound and overall aesthetic presentation!Dr. Wily is at it again, and it’s up to Dr. Light’s finest creation, Megaman, to stop him! This time, the Blue Bomber will enlist the help of his friends Rush, Beat, Eddie and Auto in explosive action against enemies, and battle Bass and Treble, Dr. Wily’s counterparts to Dr. Light’s justice-keeping robots. The icing on the cake are the awesome fully-animated sequences between the key parts of the game, which show some nostalgic moments of Megaman battling some well-known Robot Masters that might just spring tears on seasoned old veterans (myself included).I recommend this game to players of all ages, and especially those who, like me, have enjoyed the past Megaman games with relish. It will transport you back to the old days when gaming was a question of just grabbing the controller and playing!

Great original hard copy. Brought me back to the 90’s nostalgia. Awesome experience to relive.

I love the voices of the bosses in mega man 8. Usually because they sound incredibly stupid. Like Grenade Man when he says I’m Grenade Man! The bosses always say I’m — Man! The voice quality here is horrible another plus. If you want a good one listen to grenade man. Get to his boss room and listen to him say… “I’ll punish you.” or “Punish everyone hahaha.” or wait untill he attacks and says FLASHBOMB! If you want a comedy game buy this one.

Mega Man 8 truly deserves a play from not only Mega Man fans, but fans of side-scrolling games in general. The game takes what was good about the previous games and creates genuinely striking experience. With well used 32 bit graphics, an enjoyable soundtrack, and that same fluent Mega Man gameplay it’s a worthy inclusion to the series that seems to be sorely overlooked now.Mega Man 8 is a rare breed of game. Not particularly because of it’s gameplay or style, but more so the use of 32 Bit side scrollers on the Play Station or N64. To the best of my knowledge, there haven’t been many high quality side scrollers that keep you visually interested the level, but this is a fine example. The levels are vibrant and colorful and character animation is nicely flowing. The gameplay is largely unchanged from previous Mega Man games. It’s a platforming shooter with tight controls. This installment did include new little gameplay segments based around flying on your robot dog and sledding down a slope. Although these are few in number, they do change up the gameplay enough to keep it interesting.Despite the quality there is one elephant in the room, mainly the inclusion of Animated cutscenes. These cut scenes aren’t badly animated and they serve their purpose of moving the story, however they do bear the mark of a lot of early english Anime dubs, namely terrible acting. This can be pretty distracting, however these scenes are short and can be skipped.Mega Man 8 is a truly entertaining in.

Even though the PlayStation is known more for producing 3D games, it’s great to know it has plenty of good 2D ones as well. Mega Man 8 is a little easier than the NES games, but still offers a decent challenge.

Mega Man 8 is one of the best games I have played. I may be biased because I like all "Mega man" games but this is one of the best. I think it is great for everyone because I play a lot of games and this is the best I have seen in a while. For all those other Mega Man lovers out there I also recommend Mega Man X4
