Ok, im from America, and ive have the demo disc form OXM and the game looks [] awesome, the fight scenes look great and the levels are a hell of a lot better than wolfeinsein.i do agree the cgi could be better, but in game graphics is a bigger deal, not psx [], psx couldnt handle this at all.shut ur face, stupid liar, probably live in kentucky or sumthing

So apparently everyone is only giving reviews based on gameplay. If thats the case, im giving it 5 stars. The gameplay was epic, and it had some mechanics you still cant find in any other game

I bought this game at Fry’s Electronics in 2004 when XBOX was popular, and before XBOX 360 hit the market. I’ve always had an interest in RPGs so I had to get it, and for $20 it was a deal. This game somewhat reminds me of “Wizardry V: The Heart of the Maelstrom”, the SNES version. You go into the maze, you train, find upgrades, go to next level. Repeat. Only trouble is, the Plot in that SNES game is 100x better than this XBOX game. Metal Dungeon has a really terrible game plot. To me, it doesn’t make sense. It talks about the “Gods of Magic” but yet the final boss is the “Demon Lord?” I don’t see any resemblance. I guess. So anyway, There are 10 areas, and they repeat once you reach area 11, which mirrors area 1, area 12 mirroring area 2, etc. etc. etc. with the difference of the monsters you fight have been trained. Once you reach area 100, the final area, there is no limit to how far you can train since the boss fights give you insane amount of EXP. For example, in the Final Fantasy franchise, your characters are commonly limited to “Level 99”. Well, my Artsranger is currently at Level 3,440. Of course this was achieved with nearly 500 hours of game play spanned over 6 real-time years.A very good game to play on those restless nights if you like random generating mazes and repetition; and, of course, the suspense on how high you can train your men to.
