I got this just before they released metroid prime trilogy and I am so mad. DO NOT BUY THIS BUY

  2. KDMask

My son played the first two in this series and couldn’t wait for this Wii sequel to come out. He loved it. The voice over acting is a nice addition and the controls worked perfectly. My only complaint? He finished it too fast! If you’re a parent and your kid wants this, give in. Metroid is really one of the best first-person plays out there. We did get the game guide with this as well. The guide provides the maps and reading pleasure. (the reading is the good part!)

  3. D-man

If you liked prince of persia:sands of time, ratchet and clank:tools of destruction(ps3), then you will definitely like this. Innovative game play, still getting use to the grapple function, it seems that many games that I have played in the past like to add this feature in, but cannot seem to get it quite right and I am not sure why, although I suppose it just takes some getting used to. Graphically speaking, the game is nice on the eyes. It is too bad that wii does not have more titles like this, it is certainly a gem in a sea of bad to mediocre titles.

Awesome game. Too bad I don’t own a Wii anymore.

  5. Austin V.

First of all, great game! Second, the case was in good condition (one little dent in the film on the bottom right, but to be expected on a used game), the case had both an instruction booklet and some other, non-important paper. The CD was in great condition, not a single scratch on her. Arrived one time and everything! No complaints here!

  6. Bill J.

It plays like its supposed to.

Fulfills needs perfectly! Nothing is better than this product at the moment. Highly recommended to anyone its low price as well!

This game is easily the best I’ve played on the wii. In my opinion just as good as the first game in the trilogy with better immersive controls. If you’re debating whether or not to get this game, do it! You won’t be sorry.

I am so glad I picked up this game after hearing good feedback from friends. It is a very LONG game, many many villains, takes a bit of clever thinking to figure out many levels. The back story is pretty cool, but I’m more of just a shoot-em-up sort of guy. My main gripes are with the controls:- “lasso” tool, button on the nunchuck, fails to engage and hold objects. This can be incredibly frustrating during some of the missions that require you to lasso objects quickly and precisely.- In morph ball mode, the nunchuck joystick movement controls are extremely sensitive, causing you to overshoot a lot of tunnels, ledges, etc. Takes a lot of getting used to- the target lock does not lock well, if at all, on some objects.- scan tool requires you to take several steps, which can cost health/energy when facing angry bosses.- aim/look movement is one in the same. It is extremely sensitive. Unfortunately (and this can be extended to the criticism above) the option menu is extremely limited. The “sensitivity” option does not really do anything. I haven’t experienced this level of touchiness with any other of my wii games. In all, this game is a lot of fun and will keep you busy for a while if you can get used to the controls. Each of the bosses take some patience and cleverness to defeat, if you get totally stuck there are plenty of walkthroughs online.

The game is what my little brother wanted and I also am going to play it. Now we have all 3 of the metroid prime series.
