This game for the Vita is pretty much what I expected. Its fun, but not as packed as the PS3 version. I do have a problem with the game not working on occasion during franchise mode. Its really odd because it only happens I try to start my number 1 pitcher, so every 5 games I have to simulate one. It’s not a deal breaker for me, but its a little irritating.
The game looks really Great on the vita, lots of fun espically the Homerun derby. Always playing it at my kids games
Having played MLB The Show 06 and 09 on PSP, this version is a huge step forward. I own the PS3 version, and having the ability to cross save between platforms is outstanding. Besides losing the cut scenes and homerun celebrations, it is very similar to the console version in terms of gameplay. I have seen complaints that it makes the game too fast. I disagree – it lends itself perfectly to a handheld version. If I have an hour to kill I will just play the console version. The graphics look really nice on the Vita. The analog sticks work really well, as does the touch screen feature. The game is challenging however. You will go through slumps, crush liners that are hit right at defenders and blow some late game leads. Just like baseball in real life. With practice, patience at the plate, and tweaking of your sliders it is definitely a very fun and playable game. If you like baseball or previous versions of this game on the PSP, you really need to pick this up.
Very nice game. Realistic and very hard to play. I recommend it for expert gamers and baseball fans, who looks for real state of art.
Amazing game just some blur here and there and when you hit a homerun does not show anything just goes to the next batter. But still a amazing game

Having played electronic baseball games from the days of Coleco and Matel with LEDs, various baseball adaptations from the Super Nintendo, Genesis, Dreamcast, Playstations, and XBox 360. I have been amazed at the realism that this game has. From the various stances and batting styles, to the actual execution of fielding, pitching and batting, I have thoroughly enjoyed this game. Teams can be managed or actually played. The Home Run Derby as a pitcher or batter, fielding, pitching or batting skills can be practiced in subsets of the games. Graphics, sound effects and physics are excellent. The interface with the controls are responsive. Replay factor is high. I find this game to be one of my favorites in the library of Playstation Vita titles. It would be nice to see Classic Teams from the beginning of the rich history in Major League Baseball.I look forward to future versions which can only get better.

The PSvita is just coming to it’s own. 2 years old now, since the Play Station 4 has come out the Vita is starting to get all the updates and lot’s of free apps. This game cost a fraction on the vita compared to other devices. This is not always the case, but when it happens, buy it!
