What can be said about Monopoly that hasn’t already been said? The defacto capitalist board game has been a staple of American households for 75 years. In my lifetime, I’ve probably bought this game about 6 different times in several different variations.Monopoly Streets is a nice addition to the franchise. It makes it considerably more fun and slightly less tedious than actually using the physical board game. Where it shines is as a multiplayer game. Where it fails is as a single player experience. The game allows for custom rules which are always a good thing. There are several pre-made rule sets, but I’ve always been a fan of the Free Parking payday. Thankfully you can make this and many other modifications to make the game more interesting or just run faster. Though it’s worth noting that despite this, Monopoly is still a lengthy game. I personally haven’t tried the fast game variants, but unless you have at least an hour to burn, don’t bother starting this one up.One thing that I find really disturbing, which is more of a trend in the game industry is the micro transactions needed to unlock additional game content. By this I mean it’s becoming commonplace to sell the consumer half a game and expect them to spend real money through the online marketplace to get the rest of the game. While playing the game you earn some monopoly credits which can be used to unlock some tokens and game boards. But the best ones are not so easily unlocked. You will literally have.

when you need to take a break from the board game then this is your go to game. even if you need to entertain your kids there are different game modes and up to 4 people can play. no need to fumble through the instructions to learn how to play. bets part is you can play online vs different people so you can never be bored.

Have lots fun with my kids with game. I just can’t use the same moves that do in the borad game.

My husband and I love playing this game. Add computer players to it and watch the town grow! Great fun, highly recommend.

The game cheats. So I agree 100% with J. Black’s review. Exactly what he said happens to me consistently. Not only that, but if you have all of the property with all the houses maxed out, the computer will keep landing in jail and stay there for the full sentence then come out and land on Community Chest, then Chance right after that. Also, if you own too many pieces of property (i.e., a piece of every color) you will suddenly begin to consistently land on luxury and income tax and jail. It’s so frustrating and so obviously cheating. However, I’ve found the most efficient way to enjoy the game and make the cheating irrelevant.Step 1: Change the rules to allow only 1 turn in jail, and up the bail to $100Step 2: Change the Free Parking rules to pay out all the fees that are collectedStep 3: Change Go to payout 300Step 4: Buy 1 of every color. DO NOT allow the computer to have more than 1 color, if any at all. If another player buys a color/property, trade money for it (Example: if a property cost the computer $200, you offer $400 or more.) Once you have the property, mortgage it. This strategy will keep the computer from monopolizing anything. Almost any property can be bought for $1,000, which won’t be a problem for you since you would have accumulated a fortune from not having to pay rent to anyone.Otherwise, the game is very entertaining. Try downloading some of the other 3D animated boards. They’re a real treat. I hope they make more downloads in the future. W.
