Oh boy; Monster Hunter. How I’ve grown up with you so, from the plesioth Hip checks hitting you in a different map, to this epitome of beauty. For those new to Monster Hunter, the game style is as this:You are a hunter, set out to hunt giant monsters that are threats or issues in the world (or, instanced areas in the game). You hunt them, upgrade gear, and hunt more and bigger things. Each mission is going into an instanced area for gathering or hunting. For hunting, you usually will go after a large monster, wyvern, dragon, etc. until you kill or capture the target, and get materials, zeny(currency) and other credits. Now sure, that sounds pretty basic. What makes Monster Hunter amazing, is the sheer incredibly high variety in everything. 14 different weapon types all with incredibly different playstyles make the game seemingly endless if you switch around. Each has their advantages, and each have a multitude of attack combos. I’m not kidding. It makes a fighting game look basic with the amount of combos and variety. With each weapon also having four different basic "skill trees", you can change these combinations even more.Going from the fighting, this is all skill based, and favors skillful dodging and avoiding. The hitboxes for everything are very precise as well, and the animations can lock you if you are greedy or mess up.In summary, if you get hit: It is 100% your fault. Now comes everyone’s favorite: Armor, weapons, and farming. Everything has different armor and.

Great monster Hunter for noobs and old players.
K G –
Amazing gameplay and lots of variety between the quests and the monsters. Builds on previous games and polishes it to shine.
Crayon –
My brother loves the game. To me it seems like a constant battle against the RNGesus for materials since the good stuff has a less than 1% chance to get

Worked perfectly, husband enjoyed it

The follow up to MH4U. The introduction of a new combat system and bringing usable inventory to the bottom screen enhances gameplay. Many of the favorite monsters are back and ready to welcome your steel. Online is hit and miss even after a quite a few weeks after its release, but single player mode is still fun to grind.
Jason –
It’s monster hunter. It’s fun, but this one is a lot easier than the previous title. Worth having, but MH4U is more enjoyable, imo.
Star Zinico Marsh –
It feels a bit samey to the previous entry, just with a lot of the fluff and unneeded RNG toned back. Another good game for a good series.
Douglas –
Everything I expected it to be and more. They managed to also shorten the time it takes to do quests without making them easier, so it’s much easier to sit down and just play one quest in comparison to previous games in the series. I would definitely recommend buying it if you’ve played a lot of the previous games.
