This game is a great addition to the multitude of Gundam games for Playstation 2. It is a open world turn based RPG. Mobile suits have weapon slots for multiple weapons and shields, units can be repainted and parts can be interchanged between units.
i am very pleased with how promptly i got my game and i will diffinately do business more often with shop.
I bought this game for my husband because he is a Gundam fan. We both love to be RPG games, so I was a bit disappointed that the storyline is so simple. But, with that said, we still really enjoy playing the game and building the different Gundams was a lot of fun.
This game is great fun for Gundam fans, and should keep non-fans entertained as well. The game is a turn based JRPG, in which you fight in customized mobile suits. The story is nothing fantastic, but isn’t bad either. It’s at least on par with several Gundam series, with many of the same cliches. The game mostly features mobile suits from the UC timeline, with a few from Gundam Wing and G Gundam.You can customize mobile suits with pieces cannibalized from others you’ve built, swapping out arms, legs, shoulders, and various extras (thrusters, etc.) around a core head and torso. Characters have special abilities that they can use in combat, which makes it favorable to put them certain builds of suits.For fans of the Gundam franchise who prefer JRPGs over real time mobile suit combat simulators this game is a must have. Fore everyone else, it probably still bears checking out if you like JRPGs or Giant robots.

I have grown up being a Gundam series fanatic and I had a lot of fun with this game. MS Saga is structured similar to older Final Fantasy VII in better 3D. There are a lot of tough bosses and you have to endure hours of repetitive ‘grinding’ in order to beat the bosses. I liked the story; it had fair share of surprise turn-outs and dramas.Pros:1.The BIGGEST turn-on was how all the robots were customizable: weapons, body parts, and colors. I enjoyed spending time customizing my robots more than the battles and the story line.2.There are Mobile Suit Hangars in towns where you can enter in and admire your bad-ass robots.3.You can create and pilot 39 Mobile Suits from Zaku to Wing Gundam.Cons:1.Takes long time to raise money to upgrade your MS.2.Dungeons can be little more complicated.
i am enjoying the game! i’ve always liked jrpg’s and rpg’s,action adventure and horror survival games. but my fave is the rpg’s and this game has what it takes to keep my interest, a good storyline,good graphics,and a good battle setup.
This game is my first RPG game and is quite interesting because of the long story line,it is hard to predict the progress of the game unless you consult some “cheat” sites for hint.there are so many mobile suits in the game for you yo upgrade as you play through different stages.The only thing I don’t like is the MS are present in SG form i.e. with big heads and short hands and legs.I am looking forward to the Gundam game for the PS3 game system
Other good reviews, I just wanted to add that I love this game & it is one of the few games I go back & re-play often even though it is very linear. Great story, great game. Wish there were more Gundam universe games set as RPG’s.

This game was appealing when I found out that I could customize each Mobile Suit with different parts. So I decided to pick it up and it was well worth it! I am just kinda sad that it isn’t full size Mobile Suit and instead SD versions but it still didn’t bother me that much. Great game definitely recommend it!

Great game I love it. Especially the MS customization its a really great game for those whomever dreamed of customizing their own chibi-sized mobile suit. Its just something to be able to paint the Zaku II special in hot pink. (^ _ ^)

i chose to rate it as 5 stars because i have plyed alot of gundam games and of them all this had the most custimization. that was fun plus the game is kinda the black sheep of the series. over all its really good i reccomend it

Cool old JRPG where you customize a variety of mobile suits from all over the Gundam series timelines. It can be slow-paced and grindy, but if you like RPGS with lots of equipment and loadout options, or just making bizarre franken-robots, then this game is definitely worth a shot.
